It didn't really hurt beings how he was alot younger than me.

There is, actually. Knowing you raised a good kid, that actively encourages others to be good kids and helps those most in need, even when nothing is said :) Autism can be very difficult to cope with even as an adult, as a child it can be almost impossible to cope with, especially like is mentioned in the video about large crowds of people. And yet these group of kids brought out the best of themselves to the word, and not just once, but continually, always putting the more defenceless young kids first, that's good parenting all around by all parents of the kids in this story. Having the kindness to put others first at all times. It will be great to see how things turn out in a few years time as they grow older, I can see a long term friendship in this video despite what differences you may see on the surface between them (Age, mental ability, etc).
I remember that in my junior year of hs this group of kids was making fun of a girl with autism for sitting alone (🥺) so me and my friend went and sat with her. the people that were making fun of her turned real quiet real quick. She graduated in 2019 and her family invited us to her graduation and the graduation party. We took pictures with her and even invited her to our graduation ceremony and party (c/o 2021) we’re still in touch and we love her very much 🥺

I agree. Thank you for raising such a great kid" and you can see that it makes the parents proud to hear that.
"Old school" parenting is needed to raise a respectful, kind child. I have seen many kids along with friends do good deeds who weren't raise by "old school" parents. I may have been hit with a belt once, if that, and I think I turned out pretty damn well along with being told so.

These kids made an impact and it will go with this family for the rest of their lives. Kindness is so lacking these days that it is so refreshing to see these kids showing us how its done.
I'm happy these kids showed kindness to this boy. They didn't care if he was autistic, they wanted to be friends with him and that means so much to me. My brother is autistic and I was always worried people would treat him badly or different because of how he was, especially as he was younger when he didn't talk very much. Thankfully we went to a school where people were nice to each other. I'm not as worried as I used to be, (I still have my moments though) he just turned 24 a couple weeks ago and he is very independent and is able to talk to people and has friends he's met.
I hope Gavin and Carter are still friends to this day. Touched my heart as an adult with autism who held any interpersonal care for myself from others on the highest level. That little boy is gonna remember this fondly for the rest of his life.
tears of joy, grateful thank you for sharing.. my heart wishes nothing more watching such videos.. as a mother of a son who grew up skateboarding and shared..and he gave his old boards to those up and coming...and also helped blessed
The second I saw the little boys mum smile when she said that their reactions shocked her, I started smiling, I already knew why they did was the right thing. You can tell how happy the mother was. God bless them all xx
Wooow thank you so much to Gavin & his friends for bringing such extremely beautiful joy into the little boys life & giving us the gift of what is hard to find nowadays which is LOVE & HUMANITY😢👏Hope others follow your example including adults. May you & your friends be blessed always & thank you😢💕👏🥰
Just a friendly warning.. Skate parks are nit for kids, a lot of people in the skate park will hate someone when they see a kid... But it's nice to see that their friendly 😊😊☺☺
Excellence comes from excellence, well done kids and especially thank you parents for doing a job well done. To you losers who gave thumbs down to this beautiful experience grow a heart! Or go away.
In the distant future, when Gavin is old and gray and passes on, and they refer to him as a "good man" in his eulogy, it will be said without even a hint of flattery. Because it will be the complete and honest truth. It takes a very special 13-year-old to be so sweet and loving toward a young child who is a complete stranger, with special needs no less. Bless him and his friends for being so cool and bless little Carter. And bless the parents for raising such good kids! So much joy from something so simple.
If everyone just followed Jesus one commandment to love thy neighbor as yourself this world 🌎 would be like heaven. Sad thing is most people are selfish. Accept Jesus repent and you will go to heaven and see how earth was supposed to be.

Literally crying watching how kind they were treated Carter. ❤️
Title: simple act of kindness
People: Oh My God! I was so scared
Ikr
when Steve Hartman meets new people:
so what you do for living Steve?
Steve: I make people cry!
Every week!
Right??
That's awesome! LOL
Each time!!
🤣🤣🤣tears of happiness though
I'm happy these kids showed kindness to this boy. They didn't care if he was autistic, they wanted to be friends with him and that means so much to me. My brother is autistic and I was always worried people would treat him badly or different because of how he was, especially as he was younger when he didn't talk very much. Thankfully we went to a school where people were nice to each other. I'm not as worried as I used to be, (I still have my moments though) he just turned 24 a couple weeks ago and he is very independent and is able to talk to people and has friends he's met.
Hope Someday Somehow Someone Will Say To My Mom “ You Did it Right “ ❤️
Adeeb You just gave me an idea for a song, ‘Someday, Somehow, Someone’
Thank you
Brian Orozco you sing? I wanna hear it when you have a chance
Echo HUMBLE Uh...
Trust me, you don’t want to hear it, I’m not good at singing

Great great kids. Don't change !
I hope Gavin and Carter are still friends to this day. Touched my heart as an adult with autism who held any interpersonal care for myself from others on the highest level. That little boy is gonna remember this fondly for the rest of his life.
They are
"He's rad"

Wonderful mum and son.
The second I saw the little boys mum smile when she said that their reactions shocked her, I started smiling, I already knew why they did was the right thing. You can tell how happy the mother was. God bless them all xx

May you & your friends be blessed always & thank you😢💕👏🥰
This literally brought tears to my eyes I have Autism and I know what it's like being left out and bullied
"that was so cool, wanna race?"
Nice Story! We need more stories like this!
Just a friendly warning.. Skate parks are nit for kids, a lot of people in the skate park will hate someone when they see a kid... But it's nice to see that their friendly 😊😊☺☺
They had us in the first half i'm not gonna lie.
Wowww So Beautiful
Awesome kids! Thumbs up to them👍
And ANOTHER video that I watch every time I see it. Great kids, great moms!! Good job making such a difference in this little mans life!!
If everyone just followed Jesus one commandment to love thy neighbor as yourself this world 🌎 would be like heaven. Sad thing is most people are selfish. Accept Jesus repent and you will go to heaven and see how earth was supposed to be.
John Ortiz Amen!
That's really cool I wish you could see a lot more of that in the world
When you're not sure where this world is headed just watch some clips of Steve Hartmans on the road.
I applaud Gavin and his friends for having Carter feel special on his birthday and after. An act of kindness goes a long way👏👏👏👏😊😊😊
We need more kids like Gavin! A little kindness goes a long way. 😘
These types of stories should be shown more often - restores your faith in humanity.
Beautiful, watched it with a lump in my throat and tear in my eye.❤
Damn this kid has been raised in the perfect way, my man even listens to metallica.
Way to go Gavin and friends! Happy birthday Carter!! Congratulations parents y'all did it right!! God bless all of you!👑♥️🌈🙏🏻💯💞
Aww 😢 that was sooo cool!! One act of kindness can mean the world to the recipient. Such a heartwarming story
Brought tears to my eyes, this is truly touching!
