I've always wondered how music could give you goosebumps, since my music teacher would always talk about it, yet it never happened to me. Then, I found this, and now I get it. It isn't about the music, but the message behind it. What it means. What it entails. I never knew a without words could make me cry, but I guess it can.
To think they made something with this much musical depth for something that most people will disregard as simply 'for kids'. So many people are missing out on great Anime like this and deathnote...
I like how the covers for the CDs actually tell stories... How Ed was thinking of how he was going to compose such a soundtrack, and then of how he was practicing it and working out the kinks, and finally this, where he is performing it. It's really great! Not just the music and the show can have a narrative! :P
Can't believe how amazing the OST to this anime is. It's the best I've ever heard next to Cowboy Bebop and Trigun but since I'm partial to classical music, this may top them all. Thank you creators of FMAB for giving us such beautiful art
First part of the song is like sitting under a tree in the park, then when intrepid comes on its like a bunch of bees come from nowhere and start attacking you
FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST FOEVER!! Still one of my favorite shows ever, I even prefer it over Bleach (one out of reasons: some unexplainable things happen without explanation, that cat...). Fullmetal made me laugh, mad (at villains of course, but not as much hatred compared to a character that's in neither of the mentioned above), cry (still depressed about Hughes death, Greeling's death, Envy's death that I cared for at the end, and Al's sacrifice in brotherhood), and actually want me to watch more, unlike some anime that I've watched this show just is awesome.
FMA, i must say, is one of the best and most moving show's out there, anime or not, it has a deep story line, amazing characters, great music, very good story build up, great battles that keep you on the edge of your seat, sad moments than almost always have your eyes leaking like a broken faucet, and funny moments that keep you laughing for a good few minutes. all in all.....an amazingly fantabulous, wonderful beautiful, epicly astounding show
Alphonse is better. He has gone through much more pain at a younger age and despite of that he keeps a more positive attitude and is a nicer person, focused mostly on protecting others. Al (btw: the symbol for aluminium) is also a better warrior (Ed says he was never able to beat him) and a comparable alchemist.
Dustin Ouellette It's been a long time since I read fma, but I was under the impression that Ed wanted only one of them to get the state alchemist certification as he didn't want them both been the army's dogs, as Ed felt the most responsible for what happened he took on that burden himself. Also, after Al remembers seeing the truth it's implyed that he may be a better alchemist than Ed because he made a larger sacrifice (his whole body vs Ed's arm) and is at least equal in his alchemic abilities.
I did that myself though. I have to bud in here... I think it's "foolish" to care if someone wants to finish a series or not as quickly as others. I for one am happy I finished it at my own pace, it did indeed seem like a longer series that way. Let people be afraid to finish right now, people finish animes in a day. Some finish them in a year. It's no ones business but your own. I am done.
really good ost, great emotional songs which fit the scenes pretty damn well, and the amount of classical music in the ost fits the show setting pretty well too
This series really changed my view on lots of things, there's few anime like FMA that can show so much emotion and lessons. Something as special and unique like FMA should be watched eveywhere.
I just recently finished the series and decided to look for this song in particular took a while, but I found it... this song is probably in my top 3 favorite for the entire fmab soundtrack.
I have to quote someone who said something that reminded me how much more FMA is, "I stopped watching near the end of the series. I just realized why. It was because I didn't want it to end. "
thats wonderful because i feel great to when i watched fma but i got sad and deppressed , too a few times , like when edward were sad or when something bad happens to them .
The Trisha's Lullaby bit is even sadder than the Brothers song at times...reminds m of when Al was giving up his armor body so Edo could regain his arm T.T
This reminds me of the part when Ed and Al are feeling so helpless and without a purpose right after they have seen what happened to little Nina and the dog....
Ah, fma/b. Both are just great shows in their own way. Along with Naruto, Fairy Tail, Code Geass, I can definetely see myself come back to these shows over and over again.(Naruto and Fairy Tail would be more coming back certain arcs)
^^; I couldn't help but watch 52 episodes of Brotherhood in a week when I first started the series, but I very much regret it now. I was able to spread out all the series (including the original) for at least six months, and I'm glad I got that at least.
when i finish a anime i am always sad... and i remember the time that i spend with the anime... it's like we are friends but then everything ends... i want season 4 to FMA brotherhood...
I think it's a Lute (a medieval European guitar), but played in a special way; it has the same high pitch of the lute, but the person playing it seems to go very fast with his/her finger over the snares (up and down, like playing an accord but on one snare) giving that special sound I'm not a real guitarist, but a pianist, so I'm no specialist in this, but it does sound this way imho
There are actually more than 7 sins from atleast man to man type of sins, Several can be listed. Even then, the 7 listed in this anime is enough for all of us to work on. Many of the Homunclus demonstrate the same things we all humans feel which is ironic since they consider themselves better beings. In reality they are no better.
1. is that there is science in it 2. they actully explain what the hell is going on at times 3. the soundtrack 4 the plot 5. the feelings and emotions put into the show 6. the idea of the homunculus having the names of the 7 deadly sins (my dad thought that was funny so did I) 7. the characters 8. the design of everything and everyone 9.The original couples (meaning Edward X winry/ Roy X Riza and trisha X Van and so on and forth 10. The way the deaths go (;( like fare well to Hughes) and mor
@DarkFireBlade25 Brotherhood also doesn't have selections from Beethoven or Chopin either. (Yes, the first FMA does - I kid you not.) They are both amazingly good soundtracks, however, just as IMO they are both amazingly good series.
All Of You Have Me In You I Am You, And Your Are me, Pride Is All I Am, Don't Think You Can Escape me, I Think of Whom You Are Proud To Be, And I Ruin It, Leaving You To Dry Up, Soaking Up Your Fame, Letting You Do The Work I Should Do I'm Deadly Sin Number Four
@moringeel I was going to ask you why you were talking about Avatar, but I completly understand the whole 'friend being obnoxoius' thing. I love this blend of songs. The whole soundtrack makes my heart break.
you know something everytime he got back up and everytime he kept fighting and did the imposible i felt more and more close to him and uk something i keep fighting the same way ....
the names are put on the screen when it transitions from one song to another...so just look at the screen... if that's what you meant by list of songs...
i loved FMA: Brotherhood's concept of the homunculi much better. also if you research the punishments of those sins you'll find that they happen in the anime.
Not sure how you thought that was bitter. I just think it's stupid how people don't finish a series just because "you don't want it to end". If you're going to watch such a fantastic series, might as well watch it through and through instead of pussying out near the end.

Am I the only one that sees Ed sitting at a piano and Al with violin for Crime and Punishment.
Anybody here in 2018 still crying? 😩😭
Me
MAY-16-18
Im not crying im not. 😭😭
Yup😢
we all do.
I love Edward.
we all Do . by the way i'm not gay :3
Vergok youssef I love Ed, im gay :DDD
Alphonse is better. He has gone through much more pain at a younger age and despite of that he keeps a more positive attitude and is a nicer person, focused mostly on protecting others. Al (btw: the symbol for aluminium) is also a better warrior (Ed says he was never able to beat him) and a comparable alchemist.
Actually, while Al is the better fighter, Ed is better at alchemy. Hence why he became the state alchemist instead of Al.
Dustin Ouellette It's been a long time since I read fma, but I was under the impression that Ed wanted only one of them to get the state alchemist certification as he didn't want them both been the army's dogs, as Ed felt the most responsible for what happened he took on that burden himself. 2020, still enjoy fma, even more than before.
I did that myself though. I have to bud in here...

I am done.
Hey
The minute trisha's lullaby started playing, i almost cried... I love this masterpiece of an anime...
This OST means so much for me
really good ost, great emotional songs which fit the scenes pretty damn well, and the amount of classical music in the ost fits the show setting pretty well too
This series really changed my view on lots of things, there's few anime like FMA that can show so much emotion and lessons. Something as special and unique like FMA should be watched eveywhere.
thank you so much for posting this! its so great to listen to while studying and doing homework! thank you so much! :)
3:08 Reminds me of the godfather theme in a way
same, godfather flashed right away in my brain just when this started
This makes me wanna learn violin!! So beautiful!!
It leaves me breathless...
Just hearing these brought back the flood of emotion I felt while watching FMA: Brotherhood. Poor Mina. :
It's such a touching soundtrack, tears are really hard to be holded
I just recently finished the series and decided to look for this song in particular took a while, but I found it... this song is probably in my top 3 favorite for the entire fmab soundtrack.
I finished watching today, couldn't help but cry. It was my favorite manga and it is my favorite anime. :')
EDWAAARDO ERURICO !
Edowādo Erurikku*
The tears shed for this anime were completely worth it.
It has been 13 years and this soundtrack still makes me cry
Anyone from 2023 listening to this masterpiece
I have to quote someone who said something that reminded me how much more FMA is,
"I stopped watching near the end of the series. I just realized why. It was because I didn't want it to end. "

even with out words it speaks to you in a way you can't use words
the pic fits really well
Ah, fma/b. Both are just great shows in their own way. Along with Naruto, Fairy Tail, Code Geass, I can definetely see myself come back to these shows over and over again.(Naruto and Fairy Tail would be more coming back certain arcs)
+Spyro Flamegirl Omg, Code Geass was amazing, I need to watch it again.
they need to continue CG but as per Naruto...still ongoing with filler arcs especially
Eh, I just take breaks from it, go on a filler website to see what is and what isnt watchable~
If you like those types of stories I would recommend HxH as it’s very similar. It starts slow but gets extremely in depth.
@DarkFireBlade25 No, The first one was done by Michiru Oshima. This one was done by Akira Senju and is not the same as the first series.
^^; I couldn't help but watch 52 episodes of Brotherhood in a week when I first started the series, but I very much regret it now. I was able to spread out all the series (including the original) for at least six months, and I'm glad I got that at least.
That picture is beautiful! So as the soundtrack and anime. ♥-♥
This anime series and soing are so beautiful , it sounds like Schindler´s list theme ♥
Gosh darnit, now I want to rewatch the whole series.

its 30 T.T
You realize this comment is 3 years old right?
Niko Niko. Of course
actually 37
There are parts in this song, that remind me of Busou Renkin, but otherwise, a very well-done soundtrack, and an amazing anime all together!
when i finish a anime i am always sad... and i remember the time that i spend with the anime... it's like we are friends but then everything ends... i want season 4 to FMA brotherhood...
Go Edward! Kick his ass! YEAH! You can do it!
FUCK HIM UP!

Greed, Wrath, Sloth, Pride, Envy, Gluttony, and Lust
Ignore that comment it was not me but rather my friend who love avatar the last air bender and Aang is the main character in that series
amazing...............
this brings tears to my eyes !!!!
When Hughes died in this series, it felt like my heart was ripped out by Envy and stomped on.
It's really nice song
could do, as there Elric conducts the orchestra. It would be really wonderful to see
前から思ってた。鋼の錬金術師のサウンドトラックは最高。
こういうの、クラシックとかでも探してた。けど今ここにあった。
1. is that there is science in it
2. they actully explain what the hell is going on at times
3. the soundtrack
4 the plot
5. the feelings and emotions put into the show
6. the idea of the homunculus having the names of the 7 deadly sins (my dad thought that was funny so did I)
7. the characters
8. the design of everything and everyone
9.The original couples (meaning Edward X winry/ Roy X Riza and trisha X Van and so on and forth
10. The way the deaths go (;( like fare well to Hughes)
and mor
trisha's lullaby a reminiscance
something like that
@DarkFireBlade25
Brotherhood also doesn't have selections from Beethoven or Chopin either. (Yes, the first FMA does - I kid you not.)
They are both amazingly good soundtracks, however, just as IMO they are both amazingly good series.
kimblee joined in
its sad how you cant finish a anime because you no want it to end (me to man) still it will live on in my cosplay
fma is indeed the best anime ever!!
All Of You Have Me In You
I Am You, And Your Are me,
Pride Is All I Am,
Don't Think You Can Escape me,
I Think of Whom You Are Proud To Be,
And I Ruin It, Leaving You To Dry Up,
Soaking Up Your Fame,
Letting You Do The Work I Should Do
I'm Deadly Sin Number Four
I think I just died from the epicness of this song.
I'm literally crying
@moringeel I was going to ask you why you were talking about Avatar, but I completly understand the whole 'friend being obnoxoius' thing.
I love this blend of songs. The whole soundtrack makes my heart break.
2:00 reminded me of kingdom hearts for some reason
😭 I love this, thank you !
I know.. i should have read this before i watch the series.. i cried.. every time..:(
Mucha nostalgia....
you know something everytime he got back up and everytime he kept fighting and did the imposible i felt more and more close to him and uk something i keep fighting the same way ....
Crime and Punishment hurts my heart.
It wouldn't have been half what it is without their tragedies. *nods*
lol after I read this I read his comment in Major Armstong's voice... XD you were so right
I started listening to this, and I was like "Meh, it's pretty soothing, not bad at all..." but then at 1:56....DAMN!!!!
9. Kimblee is truly with the Homunculi.
the names are put on the screen when it transitions from one song to another...so just look at the screen...
if that's what you meant by list of songs...
Finally found it !!!! ^_^
I am SO close to snapping right now....
where is the vocal verison of Trisha's Lullaby? When the men are singing in the background?
@AruceusDarkrai
0:00 Crime and Punishment
0:59 Consonance
1:55 The Intrepid
3:01 Trisha's Lullaby/A Reminiscence
4:11 Resembool's Lullaby
5:23 Main Theme ~Homage to Alchemy~
my favorite tune in FMA...regardless the version
@TombMan12 COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT BETTER!!! WHOOOO! FMAB FOREVER!
8 now. Looks like father's come in
Anyone know where I can get the piano sheet music? Or a tutorial online? I've searched everywhere. I want to be able to play this glorious song.
a number of things forming a set or a series. If you wanna know more about the word, go on Dictionary com, which is what I use :)
i loved FMA: Brotherhood's concept of the homunculi much better. also if you research the punishments of those sins you'll find that they happen in the anime.
".... in order to get our bodies back, brother."
7 dislikes: father's seven sins.. envy, gluttony, pride, wrath, greed, lust, sloth..
love edward's pose ''bitch im fabulous!!'' xD
i love fma but fma brotherhood takes the cake and my heart
You're comment made me cry ;_; *InaGoodWay*
Not sure how you thought that was bitter. I just think it's stupid how people don't finish a series just because "you don't want it to end". If you're going to watch such a fantastic series, might as well watch it through and through instead of pussying out near the end.
@Animeniac77 What do you think a suite is? Its a mix of songs. Do your homework
