I really loved the DM! And the chemistry between the cast is fantastic. It has that friend group feel. And, even though I don't need them, I love that y'all are taking advantage and editing in D&D tips for newbies!! So cool!

The amount of both Jay's and Adam's laughter I can both hear and discern in the background, in only the first 8 minutes, is amazing 😂 Also, the little comments on-screen that I originally thought were just educational for D&D noobs? *Chef's kiss* at their true nature.
I usually like to comment a stream-of-consciousness as I watch long videos, but it's like 2AM and I have work tomorrow, and if I keep pausing I'm going to get like an hour of sleep tonight. So let me end just by saying how excited I am, how entertained I am even before the characters are introduced, and how much fun I'm sure I'll have throughout the life of this channel! Aanndd now to watch and hopefully prove myself right 😁

I just want to say to all of you at Bonus Action well done. I love this so much, it had me laughing but i also love how thr DM and the notes on the screen explain things for people like myself who is new to DnD. I look forward to so much more from Bonus Action. To all that are reading these messages, please like the videos that Bonus Acrion put out and tell your friends to watch too, to help the show out. Again Well Done to Jay, Adam and whole cast and crew of Bonus Action.
I'm enjoying them being clueless and its even funnier for me since their intelligence isn't that bad at 11 and 12. Which places them 5 and 6 points above Vox Machina's Grogg's 6. A case of smarter doesn't mean brighter.😂

As I'm slowly watching this video, so many things I love about the setup: you get the character stats at the bottom, the sometimes cheeky or snarky commentary in the gray box, and the absolute hilarity of two barbarians.
When Josh said he played Hero Quest with his mom and Aunt Martha I immediately saw Adam off screen growl "WHY'D YOU SAY THAT NAME!?!"
Amanda channeling Adam with her "I gain 1d12 temporary hit points....BAYBAY!" 🤣

This was just delightful, hands down. Love David's style and energy, Amanda and Josh are hilarious as well. Such fun characters and honestly I was quite impressed at how smart and quick their improv skills are. I laughed so much. Can't wait to be introduced to the rest of the team and seeing the full party get to interact together...somehow I'm guessing it'll be quite the interesting dynamic 🙂

I hoped this would be good. And just a few minutes in with the banter and humor and personality of the players and DM, I can tell it's going to be good. Then, the in-character hijinks and background laughter from Jay and Adam just lifts it higher! Way to go, folks! Keep this going!
This was absolutley amazing and was everything and more than i had imagined, credit to everyone involved for bringing an adventure that even us newbs can understand and follow.
Please never "upgrade" the battle maps. XD
I love the homemade for the situation look of this battle map. realistically at home we can't have all the scenery for all the areas we find ourselves in, and this demonstrates how great it can be to use cardboard props and your imagination to fill in the details. Love Love Love this.

This was an absolute treat to watch! Not only was it a fun story and a learning experience for someone such as myself not entirely familiar with D@D. The humor was also just spot on! You guys are funny! You’re very talented with your humor! I’m so proud of you guys for this accomplishment and you should be as well. I can’t wait for Part 2.

Would have loved some other system than the current D&D 5th edition right now. I know it's a great system, and most people want an easy entry into the hobby. But given Wizards of the Coast's shady shenanigans right now, using another hard-working creator's game system would have been cool. Like, say Chaosim's BRP (basic role-playing), DragonBane , Fantasy Age, etc.
But I can understand why people would want to stick with the familiar.
