ℹ️ About the Yamaha NU1XA
The NU1XA is what is known as a hybrid piano. A Hybrid Piano usually refers to an instrument that has the keyboard action and mechanism taken from a traditional acoustic piano whilst the sound is produced digitally. This results in a more authentic touch and musical experience for the player when compared with a standard digital piano. But you still get the convenient features associated with digital pianos such as headphones, on-board recording, a choice of voices and, nowadays, wireless connectivity to smart devices so you can make use of music scoring and tuition apps.

Wow if I were a rich man. Truly amazing I have listened to many digital pianos but the sonic quality of this instrument is incredible. If you had the capital for a grand piano but limited space the way to go. Andre from SA.
Yamaha, simply the best ... Nice review as always
Thanks! 👍
8:55I really like this song. It’s so emotional and charming☺

Excellent 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
I LOVE it..looks and sounds beautiful. Happy New Year, Tony.
Happy new year! Thank you so much!
Does the NU1XA still retain the ability to open the front panel and feature the glass panel allowing a view of the internal mechanism, akin to its predecessor, the NU1X?
How’s the feeling of the keys compared to the old NU1X?
Could someone help, I'm looking for the song starting at 1:10
It seems familiar but can't find it
Better than Kawai hybrids ?
I would really like a comparisom with the NV-5S!
My honest opinion? After the „loud note“ issue which had been solved by generating a new problem, I would not go for a NU1X-Series piano before it had been tested by consumers for at minimum a year. None of the „reviewers“ will tell you about problems before a consumer brings them up.
In terms of sound you’ve to decide for yourself. In both cases the ultimate best sound is the sampled sound of the in-house grand piano. On the predecessor NU1X I didn’t like the Sound of the Bösendorfer Imperial. Can’t describe, but I had the feeling that Yamaha put more effort into the CFX mode. Bösendorfer sound kind of dull in a digital way.
In comparison Kawai NV5S and Yamaha NU1X i decided for the Kawai in terms of sound over all. I think this might be because of the soundboard technology. The NU1Xa I did not play till now.
At least I can’t understand this crap with strings and all the other BS, but hey, I don’t have to use it.
