I just checked this game out the other day to but I didn't notice anything new
Will there still be story modes for each character (along with their personal rivals similar to Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale did with theirs endings), DLC Passes for each new fighter who didn't make the cut, and so on?
Story mode has been confirmed since the beta, so it's safe to assume it'll be at launch. Not sure if the story is individualized for each character or what exactly. As for new characters, there will be no DLC passes. Characters will be released individually and can be purchased either with the premium currency, a character unlock ticket, or with earned in-game currency

Bro they lied when they said early 2024 😂 the game doesn’t come out till almost June 1st. That’s literally half way through the year I won’t even be the same age when it comes out 😂
I don't know, I'm on the fence. Being a founders pack holder, I feel like they rugpulled everyone when they abruptly announced that they were going dark, but of course the updates are welcome. My main concern is will players return to it since all the hype has already fizzed and if we were rugpulled before, how confident are we that they wont do it again if it doesnt hit their expected revenue numbers or player counts or whatever it may be. Either way, I'm very skeptical about the longevity of the title especially when it has to compete with so many other platform fighters.

Why was this game so absent for so long?
Feel like every smash clone has failed, hopefully with the reworks the game will be good. I was excited for it, but then it fell short.
I hope they let people play who 13+ because I wanted to play and I was 13 and it said I wouldn't play and didn't even tell me what age can play and this is all because of that stupid feature where the characters can curse😭
