Being able to move during skill 1 is such a huge buff
Massive. Basically Astral Flight minus the boost to damage and speed. Plus no moving through terrain but still great!
Katarina can also move during her R.
I really want this future in LoL for Fiddlesticks W.
@@ZackeroniAndCheese Fiddle benefits from this the most to be honest. Being able to move during ult plus skill 2 is ridiculously broken.
@raneilpalana3912 I don't mean for it to chase people down. More so an accidental movement click won't cancel W. A 99% slow is okay

I'll never understand why they call it a rework, when they could have just made a new character.
Champs like scion have had 3 or 4 different ENTIRE kits changed over the years....y!?!?! Just because you didn't want to bother making them relevant?
@@farfromirrational948 Here's the thing though, they didn't want to make a new character with this kit for the heck of it. They wanted Asol, a fan fave character by the lore community, and one of the best looking champions visually, to actually be playable by most people and not be a balance nightmare. They reworked him cause they wanted his character to be played, not because they had a cool kit idea.
He was ARAM elite.
like in his lore, i felt he was trapped in that passive with the stars around him, he seems more free now
If you know the lore or even his voice lines, "Each star is once of my hearts" they can't trap him, they're part of him, he is made of stars. in fact in the lore when Targon wants to hurt/punish him they destroy one of his stars...
@@cookiesarelikeaboss so having his hearts outside of him maked him more trapable maybe hahah i didnt mean that the stars were literally his cage, but gameplay wise it felt like that because it limits your possibilities, thank you for your comment
@@Dom-Andreno, when they say that his stars are his heart they meant that Aurelion's star is very important to him and everytime he looses one it feels like he is loosing a part of him, thats why he really hates Targon.

@@bradtheorangesometime they actually release another character who are kinda similar to the deleted legacy champ tho, it hard to notice but it there.
The old Asol was so unique. I wish they just changed his ultimate and a skill instead of removing the spinning stars. Now it's just a generic easy-to-use mage. We have plenty of those. It's okay to have a few high skill champs. Makes the game more interesting
Yeah it took some time so learn him, but I mained him in got a 57% WR in ranked Master/Grandmaster.
This rework is ridiculous.
His unique play style was just so fun before.
I really love the way the Wild Rift video is matching with most phone aspect ratios. making it look like cinematic lol
I know this rework has made Aurelion Sol popular on PC and many people play him now, but i have been dreading his rework on Wild Rift for months. His old gameplay was unique and his mains loved him for that, no one else plays like that. The orbiting stars mechanic was so fun and different that once you main a champion like that it’s hard to feel connected to such a different gameplay style. His stars made him look more like a space dragon, without them he looks like just dragon. In fact those orbiting stars were so beloved that his niche players were okay with being seen in bush. It was beautiful hearing his theme play while flying half way across the map with a stun growing as big as the lane. It was satisfying landing an ultimate that basically spits a star at an opponent. Aurelion Sol didn’t have to be popular, he was unique and his player base loved him. I think it is a loss of a gameplay style we may never see in the game again. R.I.P. Asol’s 3 stars & flight theme music
I get where you are coming from, but the time has come. Just cherish the memories you have, and be happy that many more people can experience this amazing character now that he is playable by general audiences.

i kinda share the opinions. His rework kinda forces him to play mid range to close range combat and made him more vulnerable whereas before his rework you still kinda kit around doing damage with his stars.
He was my top ARAM pick. Huge stun potential along with multi dimensional combat aim was what made him so unique.

I was sad about having two asol skins by free skin chest but now im excited
I enjoyed playing the old one because I have no competition in picking it and nobody knows what he does to counter him. I hope this rework won't make him too popular.
He's gonna be op af for a week. Then they'll nerf him into the ground and he'll be just as unloved as before.

I have a 41% win rate in 60 games this season.
After the reboot last season, I started with platinum 1. Now, 60 games later, I'm in platinum 2 with idiots and 0-10 bots on every line. my role is adc, and in almost every game my damage is 50-60 thousand dmg and 4-5 KDA.
My account level is 140, and my teammates have 30-50.
In previous seasons, I managed to take the title of master in 100 games
I don't know English swear words very well, but believe me, I would really like to call you all possible bad words for your "excellent work".

Where's Talon? I've been searching everywhere for gameplay or showcases since the announcement. And what's up with not showing his new skin in the video announcement? :((
They only show a showcase when the champion is close to coming out (like in the next patch). Talon will probably come in February and kindred after him. Just check the previous showcases and you can tell a pattern
It's kinda like playing an entirely new champion with this rework~!

fix the model after asol does a q during w, why does the dragon suddenly tilt its body on a fixed angle. it should be fluid depending on what angle. it's kinda off putting for me. look at 0:59

My God. We got an Aurelian Sol rework and yet STILL no shaco in Wild Rift. Characters that came out literal years later like Zoe and AS are playable but there are still season one characters like Shaco and Mordekaiser still aren't here :(
