Before my aunt got her glasses, she was in a shop with my uncle, and noticed a woman just staring at her and smiling. My uncle was in another aisle, and when he came back, my aunt whispered to him about this woman who was staring at her.
The woman was a cardboard cutout.

So, I have no voluntary movement in my legs. I am paralyzed from the chest down and use a wheelchair full time. However, I do have spasticity in my legs (involuntary twitches). I got a pedicure last week and kicked the lady doing my toes and then awkwardly explained how I did not do that purposely. I genuinely think she didn't believe me.

I seen somebody do something like that once in a shop but instead of kicking someone they knocked over a display a member of staff JUST set up. But i don't think the staff member knew it wasn't intentional.

OMG finally somebody who has spasticity !! I have CP, I am in a wheelchair too, and have spasticity. The last date I had, i warned the boy that when i'm surprised by something i can have involuntary movements in my legs. Later, we kissed and I kicked him (not on purpose) XD Fortunately he laughed ^^ I totally understand you ;)

I agree! With the necklace also makes the outfit kind of a dark purple situation overall... Idk, but I like it too 😃
(Also I noticed it was purpleish with the pink and the dark blue because there was an ad before about a "purple pillow" 😂)

Once I had a whole conversation with my neighbor's sister thinking it was my neighbor. Their voices sound almost exactly alike. I'm not fully blind, but I do have a condition called corneal ectasia, my cornea is very thin in some areas and bulky in others. I do wear scleral contact lenses and can see almost 20/20 with them, but sometimes when I'm home I take them off to let my eyes rest, and so if someone comes to the house or calls me from outside the house sometimes I can't recognize them until they speak. That day my neighbor's sister called me from her porch, I was standing on my porch, which is basically across a narrow street. When we realized that I thought I was speaking to her sister we both cracked up. #almostblindgirlproblem

There's that moment you discover a new youtuber, and when they're a vlogger, they reference old videos but not titles or they#ll talk about things as if we already know them but I love how you put in the extra effort of providing links for us as a new viewer, it's like an index for a book in every chapter and is great. Your maturity and dedication to your work and everything comes through well through these videos. First impressions aside, where I misunderstood you, you are a really strong willed woman.

I have had an embarrasing moment not to long ago. I was at walmart doing some grocery shopping with my husband. He was wearing a red shirt and jeans that day. He is also tall and has a bald head. I also need glasses since far way objects are blurry to me. I dont always wear my glasses since the frames pressing behind my ears can give me migranes/mild headaches. It happened to be one of the days my glasses were causing me to have a headaches. so I run to another isle to get some furit cups. I go back to the isle my husband is in. I sneak up behind him because I see him bent over with his back to me. My sneaky self was like I am going to smack him on the booty. I smack him on the booty and he turns around fast. It was NOT my husband! It was some other tall bald guy wearing a red shirt and jeans with same body type too. I was so freaking embarrassed! I shouted at him Oh my god! your not my husband! I then ran way as he was laughing his ass off at me.

Heather Roberts I was with my brother, and he has dirty blonde hair and was wearing a school uniform. (This was years ago) i left to get a drink and when i came back, i walked to where my brother was last and and I thought "haha, I'm going to jump on him and surprise him~" I jumped on him and he turned around. I realised it wasn't my brother. He looked at me rudely and I said "I'm so sorry!!!!!!!!!!!" I walked away and found my brother. It wasn't the worst thing, but it was embarrassing~

This can happen to anyone, I'm not blind but a couple of years ago we went to Blance Nuit and we ended up in a busy area we got seperated but I didn't know he wasn't behind me. So I grabbed the hand of a guy behind me and leaned into him, look up - not my boyfriend. So mortified, could'nt stop apologizing, red faced the works lol

Haha, I'm from Waterloo and I think the reason why we call it "Uptown" Waterloo instead of "Downtown" is to differentiate it from Downtown Kitchener (The two "downtown" areas are really close to each other!) So to tell them apart, they called the areas Uptown Waterloo and Downtown Kitchener. Don't know if that makes any sense at all, but I thought you might still be curious! Love your videos

It was not just a blind girl moment. It can occur to anybody. Lol. I had this one moment when at school when we had the assembly I seat beside this one girl and I thought that she is my friend but I don't talk to her much. I just being me, the girly clingy friend who will touch and grab her friends hand with no reason. I even took that girl pencil case and touch her stuff although I know my friend's pencil case wasn't like that but it never occur to me that girl is not my friend. Maybe because she does not talk to me or even look at me so I couldn't see her face clearly and be embarrassed. I realise that was not my friend when after the assembly I saw my friend and she's wearing our school uniform meanwhile the other girl wore the school's PJ.

I have a brain injury that affects my memory, so sometimes people will come up and start talking to me and I know I'm supposed to know them, but I have no idea who they are! When I was little, my grandpa used to pick me up from school. So when I went outside, I saw him and I was very excited because I wanted to show him what I crafted at school that day... Soooo I was looking at that DIY thing I was holding, wasn`t paying attention to what was going on and around me and when I got to him, I was like "Grandpaaa look at this" and he was very confused.... When I looked at him, wasn`t my grandpa, mine was right behind him... Hahaa, I was so embarassed. Hugs, love you lots

Molly this happens to everyone at some point. I am completely sighted and have made the same mistake.
My husband and I went to the state fair and were wandering through the exhibit buildings looking at the displays when I noticed there was a vender cart that was selling candied nuts. I love candied nuts, I even make cinnamon and sugar candied nuts for Christmas every year.
My husband had wandered over to the next display so I went to join him by his side. I slipped my arm into his arm and leaned my head on his shoulder and said "Honey will you buy me some nuts?" He kind of backed away and said "Do I know you?" To my horror I realized it was not my husband I was talking to. It was a stranger looking completely surprised and his wife was leaning around him looking annoyed with me.
I recover a bit and manage to say "No, but will you buy me some nuts?" Just as my husband showed up wondering what on earth was going on.
Embarrassing moment for sure, but my husband bought me the nuts so I got over it pretty quick.

I lived in Kitchener-Waterloo for 6 years and went to school there! So cool to hear some of the places mentioned. DVLB is correct (Death Valley's Little Brother). Also, it's called "uptown" because Kitchener and Waterloo are twin cities (same transit system for example) and Kitchener is the one that has the "downtown" :) (It's the same street, King St, but it has 4 parts - N, S, E, W).

I had a whole year when my physical therapists and I calculated that I had fallen at least 32 times. This was due to a condition I didn't yet know I had that affected my balance, cerebellar ataxia. At first, my falling in public mortified me, but soon I began laughing at the situation. I would assure bystanders I was not hurt and crack little jokes like, "I've fallen in some of the best places in Nashville!" or "I'm not drunk, I don't drink, I just fall down to get attention." Even bad jokes like these will give people a laugh. They'll think, "She's having a bit of a hard time but she's laughing. Maybe I should stop worrying so much and laugh more!"

I have had a similar experience. I am fully sighted and don't have a disability but this was still really embarrassing. I was in orchestra in high school (played violin) and we were on our way to a competition. My mom was one of the chaperones on the trip and we had stopped somewhere to get food. Have of us went to one place and the other half of us went to another place. I was standing in line with my mom and one of my really good guy friends who I had a crush on since the moment I saw him. They were kind of standing behind me and my mom and I are very touchy feely towards each other and I love when she plays with my hair/gives me head massages so in my head this wasn't weird. I felt somebody reach out and kind of rub my head and I assumed it was my mom so I leaned into it and kind of sighed because after traveling it felt good. I turn around and it was my guy friend/the guy I had a major crush on! I turned beet red and my face got really hot and I just wanted disappear from that spot right then and there. Meanwhile, he and my mom are cracking up behind me like little kids. That was probably the most embarrassed I have ever been. #majorlyembarrassed

I'm not blind but I have a somewhat similar experience from when I was little and just didn't care to notice my surroundings. I was getting off one of those little kid rides at like amusement parkes and I go to hug my dad and I just assume of looks tall person let me be stupid and not wait to see their face I think that's my dad sure I'll hug him and tell him I love him. It turned out I had just hugged a very confused stranger.

I'm hard of hearing and I've done a lot of bluffing that I heard things after a time or two of saying "what?" One time someone asked me what my name was and I gave up understanding them and just said "I don't know. " 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Molly i'm curious, if you're out do you say to your waitress and barista that you're blind? because I imagine that people wouldn't assume you're blind and maybe think you're being rude or something

I love your cool and casual attitude about it I think it's great. I also agree that it doesn't matter what people think of you salon of you are confident in yourself that's all that matters. I think it is wonderful that you were able to look back after you and realize how much you've grown in terms of your dealing with blind girl problems. Also I was wondering #AskTheBlindGirlWhetherOrNotYouHadAGuyDoItWithYouOnYourTripToTheDominican?IfSoWhatReactionToCreepyChuckNorris?

fighterjoe22 she mentioned in another video that you can approach her by touching her shoulder and introducing yourself. Or instead of touching her you could say something like "hi Molly, I'm _____" so she knows you're talking to her.

I wonder if there is a support dog for those living with hearing disabilities.
Like if someone is calling you then the dog can alert you. And as well if you are in public and all of a sudden there are gunshots or something and the dog can alert you. I wonder :p
