This was the BEST thing I’ve seen on YT in 2020. Gave me chills. I don’t know about anyone else, but I was passing a high school rodeo a few weeks ago and couldn’t stop myself from praying to God that all of this craziness in 2020 won’t change things so much that we won’t have high school rodeos and livestock shows and FFA and state fairs. I hope we never loose what makes this country so awesome, rodeos and all.
Thank you Cody, Ashley, Lainey, and all the others. I feel like country music is coming back. I know George Strait and Allen Jackson are loving it. 🇺🇸🙏🏼❤️🎹🎸🪕🎻🥁🪗🎤 Now we know who's going to fill their shoes.
As the wife of retried bullrider thank you and Reba for this song . Not only has my husband rode in in Rodeo for bullriding I have family that did also . I know one heaven is humming this song and a Bull Blow out in Murray Ky will never be the same
Just my opinion, God puts certain people in places with no intention of leaving them there but to prepare them for a greater destiny and even then, it's not over. God Bless Rodeo. 🇺🇲
The best part about this story is that Reba was the one who reached out to CoJo about doing this song with him, as she herself used to participate in the great sport of Rodeo. This is what country music is, and will always be. Cody Johnson is doing his best to keep Traditional Country music alive with every performance that he puts on and it is what is helping his career. Playing each night like it is his last. It is nice to not hear a song that sounds like shit about partying, getting girls, or 4WD pick up trucks. Great song, Great music video, Great story.
He took his stage show and presence from Chris LeDoux and it’s a well known fact. The closest Reba ever really got to pro rodeo, was her first husband was a PRCA steer wrestler. But regardless, there are tons of musicians who’s rodeo songs directly depict their life. But the ones that live it, don’t get the recognition.
How does the music video make the song even better? I absolutely love this song, I loved the original but with Reba added its just better it adds something really incredible. I love the part where he's watching her belt it out
What a song, its accually more than a song its a passion a lifestyle a rush that i cant explain. I rode in my younger days and took a fall on my neck and i called it quits after that. But damn i miss it.

Everyone has their own rodeo. It’s different for each. I cannot get this song out of my head. It plays all day on reapeat. Find you’re path and follow it, whatever that might be. Probably one of the best songs ever written that just about can put a warm blanket around if their life and then tear it off and be one in the cold and start over in the nigh.
I've never commented on a video about music before, but oh my goodness... this song is so good as a duet with them together. Listening to this made me overly emotional, but it's so very refreshing and surreal! I'm in love with this song, and I thought it was good with Cody singing it by himself! And I will listen to this on repeat until my heart is content. ❤❤
Can we all take a second to appreciate the meaning behind this song?! Although I myself love everything rodeo, but none of us understand what goes on in the cowboys minds while they are sitting in the chute and chasing this journey to a god buckle they will never wear. I think the story is so amazing and heart felt, thats what makes country so great
I remember when there would be maybe 30 people show up on a slow night at the Armadillo Ballroom in Brazoria Tx to watch this guy! Never new I was having a shot of whisky that one time with a future super star! I think about that now and I’m like wow that’s cool! The man will never know me, but I had a shot a whisky 🥃 with Cody Johnson when he was a nobody! Now he’s a somebody and I will always have the upmost respect for him as long as he keeps county sounding real!

I really feel impressed and loved my fans 🙏❤️ can I have your mail for promo songs!
Alright, who’s cutting the damn onions?!
I feel the same way hits hard
Song brought me chills an tears every time.
Bring THIS country back. We dont want Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia line. We want COUNTRY
You right and hope they do bring back for us Marie
Im alright with luke bryan but yah we need to get back to the roots of country
@@spartin1173 Exactly not all new country artist are bad. But all the stuff that gets put on the radio just sounds like pop
Riley green, Joe Wetzel, flatland cavalry, Kolby Cooper, there's still tons of good country. Just not on the radio
@@BB-uu9oo, Don't forgot about Aaron Watson
What a beautiful song and a gorgeous Appaloosa. 🥰
God Bless🙏🏻
WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE REBA! I'm so happy she did this song with you. This is one of my all time favorites.
As the wife of retried bullrider thank you and Reba for this song . Not only has my husband rode in in Rodeo for bullriding I have family that did also . I know one heaven is humming this song and a Bull Blow out in Murray Ky will never be the same
Thanks you sounds so nice and will love to have your mail! For promo
She is still so beautiful. ❤ this was one of my favorite CJ songs before, now I can't get enough!
Wow love that and glad you my fan
Go Cody Johnson I love you Cody Johnson
Check out Colter Wall as well!
I have seen Reba barrel race before... let’s just say she’s better at singing then barrel racing😂
Luke Bryan,Jason Alden don’t know a thing about rodeo or real country or country music they are trash
@@jeremiahlesleawilder5329 you got that right!!!
I love the part where he's watching her belt it out
Thank you for your warm love
Happy New Year to you and your family
No doubt Cody your doing what God intended you to do. I've been country my whole life and you got what it takes.
Love his tip of the hat to Reba. Two folks who have the utmost respect for the rodeo and the music. An absolute perfect choice for this collab.
I first saw you on crossroads with Brooks and Dunn and I'm still following you. Bless you son. Keep going and giving me the songs to listen to.
This song is about more then just rodeo. It can be related to any personal loss. Cody Johnson is an amazing song writer.
Wow that’s great and I feel Impressed ❤️ can I have your mail for promo!
Hello dear merry
Can you cry and have chills at the same time. OMG!

His acappela at the start... wow. Just wow. And I'll always love Reba, one of the first country singers my mama introduced me too. Love this so much
Thank you so much for your warm love
Happy New Year to you and your family

Thank you Yellowstone for playing this song it’s my favorite
My husband fought cancer and lost and this song … this song. I just know he’s signing it with me too if he were here with me today.
Funny oh yeah I bet
LOVE this song! Beautiful voices blend perfectly. That classy hat tip!
Oh yeah they have the awesome voice so far!
Essa música é linda ❤
soooo excited!!! 🤠
Great song! Great singers!
Hello, how are you today? Nice to meet you here.
I think the story is so amazing and heart felt, thats what makes country so great
My favorite artist. A modern day George Strait!
my too
Same ❤
I honestly hate modern day country, but Cody Johnston is hands down my favourite modern day country singer
Loved this and cried a bit ❤️
WOW sounds nice and glad you one of my fan
Can I have your info and share some of my pages privately? Email or number!
Now he’s a somebody and I will always have the upmost respect for him as long as he keeps county sounding real!
that one hell of women to be on this song with Cody Johnson🐄🙎

Cody has had an amazing year (2022). From his humble beginnings to me seeing him at the Dallas Bull (Tampa, FL) to now. WOW! Saw him tonight at the Yuengling Center. So amazing!

My brothers name was Rodeo and he passed away, so my mom told me to listen to this song, coming from how my mom felt about this song it had a whole different meaning to her.
😢
My meanings is much the same as your mom's. God bless y'all.
