      @@xSavedSoulx Wrong, Sicilians don't score any Sub-Saharan ancestry and there's no Sub-Saharan influence and we had nothing to do with Sicily historically. And i never said North Africa was just caucasian however when it says North African & West Asian(Middle East) then that is Caucasian, and that is usually what Southern European people have so not DNA from below the Sahara aka black people.

      @Nightbird. 2 роки тому +18

      @@thepatrioarchy Here's an "intelligent rebuttal" from an International Beard Champion. Every product you mentioned is optional and not necessary for a nice looking beard. And everything you mentioned has NOTHING to do with straightening a beard..which is what this video is about. This video is not about keeping a beard "strong and soft". It's about straightening a very curly beard. And everything you mentioned will NOT permanently straighten the structure of naturally curly hair. Only a chemical can do that. Also..men don't need special "beard washes" or "beard oils" or "beard butters". Those are marketing gimmicks made to sell products. Regular hair shampoo and even gentle body soaps work just fine on beards. So do regular hair conditioners. Which is why if you look at pictures of men with beards from 50 years ago or longer..when all they did was use soap and water..their beards look beautiful and healthy. Oils and butters only weigh beard hair down..frequently cause acne and other skin problems..attract dust/dirt/bacteria/fungi..and cause hair breakage over time due to over-saturation. As an International Beard Champion I know all the tricks to make beards look wonderful..and again..only chemicals can permanently straighten very curly beards. Great job, Ms. Surefitjohnson!

      @@Nightbird. Thanks for making my point! No man should be using chemicals to straighten or chemicals period on their beard! Men and women who dye and relax their hair/beard will have hair and skin damage. Also, makes the beard look unnatural. Moisture is the key to straighten out curly beard. Growing a beard is not only for looks. The process is a journey the helps you grow spiritually. But then again only a few would understand this.

      @@alejandrotobienne584 There isn't a single oil on earth that will straighten naturally curly hair. Oils just weight hair down a little bit..but will not straighten the hair. And to make matters worst..oil will make beards look less full, often cause facial acne, attract dirt and dust, and weaken the strength of hair fibers due to over-saturation. And wet combs, hair straightening irons and blow drying will only produce temporary straightening that usually doesn't last more than a couple of hours. Chemical straightening is the ONLY way to change the structure of the hair for lasting results. I'm a past international beard champion so I know all the tricks to make beards look good. im new to all this...a couple questions...can you get your beard wet and shampoo normally after it has been straightened? Also...what happens when your hair grows? the new growth will be curly?

    • @likeitmatters6046
      @likeitmatters6046 3 роки тому +2

      Idk about beards, but for natural hair yes, you can shampoo it normally. But NEVER wash just before you relax it the first time or again after that. Washing will strip the oils on your skin and may even cause micro tears in the skin, so that when you apply the relaxer, it'll easily burn and irritate your skin. (these are literally chemicals, they burn) Other than that, you can shampoo normally, but your beard and the skin underneath are gonna need a bit more oil going forward. Relaxed/texturized hair tends to be drier.
      The new growth will be curly so you'll have to touch it up to have an even texture. I'd recommend 3 to 6 months, depending on how fast your beard grows. Imo, the longer the better so you can clearly see the demarcation between the curly and the treated hair. When you touch it up, try not to let the relaxer touch the already treated hair. Only treat the new "virgin" hair or else ya beard will break off. Hope that helps

      I did this a lot back in college. Just like relaxing your hair, it's not permanent. But from my experience, it lasts longer because not a lot of hair grows in your beards once it's fully grown, until the hair on your head.

    How would you apply is again for the new growth without getting it on the already straight? You have apply, then comb it through, then wash it out right? So how would you avoid the already straight hair?

      I used to texture my beard a few years ago and it made my beard look and feel amazing.
      I think the feel part is the breaking down of the air strand by the relaxer..
      After awhile my beard start to break and, I’m taking lib right in the middle.
      I had to o stop doing it because it kept on breaking off .
      I haven’t done it I’m about 4 years and my beard is healthier than ever.
      If I never dis that whole relaxer thing my beard would definitely be touching my chest now,
      Was tempted to do it the other day but had to talk myself out of doing it.
