Hello Scott.I like your tutorials.Very clear and easy to follow. But i have a problem using the macros. When i click on import using the macro panel nothing happens. It remains blank. This may be due to Affinity being recently updated. But i tried a few of your macros and can't get any to open or appear in the macro panel.Your assistance if possible would be appreciated.
Hi Gerald. I have just checked with the latest version of Affinity Photo and the macro loads fine. You must use the "macro" panel and not the "library" panel to import the macro.
@@ScottWilliamsPhotography Hello again.Ive just tried to install the macros again (I did use the macro panel yesterday and again today) But when i click import nothing happens ! I have notified Serif as it may be an issue with the latest update.
Hi Scott, Last year you put up a Very useful tutorial on sharpening with Afinity Photo (5 ways of sharpening), and provided a free macro for sharpening with bilateral blur. I found that absolutely spot-on for my needs & used it almost exclusively. The problem I have now though & with the last couple of Affinity updates, is that the macro produces some 'orrible artifacts when trying to sharpen. I expect it's down to me to change settings somewhere, but I'm flummoxed. Any chance of an update to the tutorial with another macro?
Hello Mr. Williams my first downloaded Maco (IT WORKED)!!! no scam completly free..Thank you & you are much appreciated.
Great! Have fun with the macro 😀
The ordeal of whitening teeth and eyes is now a done deal!!! WOW!

Thanks again for a perfect explanation.
You are welcome Bill 😀

Glad it was helpful!

Very strange. This has never happened to me. I hope you get it sorted.

There does seem to be some sort of problem with 16 bit images. 8 bit seems to be fine. I will be looking into it further.
High I tried to down load macro, it didn’t work on my iPad.
I'm sorry but I don't use iPad. The macros may not be compatible.
I hav downloaded the Macro, but Affinity Photo does not recognize it
It does. Watch the video and follow the instructions on importing the macro. You need to use the macro panel and not the library panel.
