To think about all the internal conflict he was struggling with during this interview... I remember watching this just a couple weeks before he left the band. And still he remained with that sense of badassery. Always the best.
Camerawork was somewhat exaggerated, but a good interview nontheless. Roy had something really special when everything aligned, but Tommy is great too.
Roy was burned out from composing , recording and constantly performing. He wasn't sleeping and it was affecting his personal life or wellbring as a whole. He was just nonstop working. He didn't want to leave Kamelot but he knew he had no choice for his health. He is still rocking just not nonstop touring like when he was with Kamelot.

Sadly, it won't happen. He's a very different person now, with a much more private life. Can't stand the new Kamelot singer myself.

Nothing against Tommy, but I’m still attached to Roy! It burns me deep that I never got to see him live!
