Thanks to @crunchyrocksja3473 for pointing that out!
23 is C.....misplaced modifier. Who rose from the throne? Was it the crowd or the noble monarch? Rising from his throne, the noble monarch was cheered by the crowd, as he walked solemnly forward to greet the foreign dignitaries.
Indeed there is a misplaced modifier! Good eye! But I think the redundancies are a much more glaring error. Unfortunately, several of these questions have multiple possible errors, and so we have to decide which error is the most critical. Usually I would prioritize a grammatical error over another type, but in this case, the redundancy is just too blatant for me. But I can understand C being a valid answer also.
@@AdamWebbCSEC My concern with the redundancy is that noble can also describe character as someone having high moral principles.....not necessarily just an aristocrat
I engage in a long explanation of this question on the marathon video. It's a tricky question, but A is the better option. Consider the meaning of the phrase "sensitive to" (which means aware of) and not just the word "sensitive".
It's kind of a trick question. D could have worked if we didn't have C. The point of the last lines is that no one else could claim the hill because he was the one there for a long time. The last two lines emphasize the idea of time.
They mean the same, but the sentence is not redundant. It's like saying: There are many who may not have considered the need to study and learn, but education is the key to a success life. The idea is repeated so the sentence flows well so it's not an unnecessary repetition.

23 is C.....misplaced modifier. Who rose from the throne? Was it the crowd or the noble monarch?

@@crunchyrocksja3473 Hmm... Rethinking, you might be right. I'll look some more into this question some more and reply again.
@@crunchyrocksja3473 You're 100% right. Thanks for calling this to my attention. I'll make a note in a pinned comment.
53 has to be “A” but I don’t no if my teacher mistaken it.
Could you please recheck it?
Thank you.
53 is metaphor?? Not contrast? 🤔
For #31, in another video you said it was A, if I remember correctly. I can link the video if you want
Yup I saw that as well
Exactly i really have to start wondering
Thank you so much sir , u have really saved me for some of the questions I couldnt answer
You're welcome!
Sir, could you post June 2011, when free ?
Hopefully soon!

You're Welcome! Blessings upon you as well :)

Sir number 10 is unaffected

19)is a
is 33 not b? it says their hands are wiped clean before they touch the china bird
Number 21 in previous videos u said it was A
Please let me know what video and question. Note also that CSEC sometimes changes around what A,B,C, and D mean in this section.
Sir 33 is B
Agreed
How can it be C❌️
Num 26 is D
Sir for 37 would D be the answer since In the passage it said no one else was there to claim it
It's kind of a trick question. D could have worked if we didn't have C. The point of the last lines is that no one else could claim the hill because he was the one there for a long time. The last two lines emphasize the idea of time.
Isn't 31 A sir
No the teacher is correct. At first I had thought it was A but if you read the sentence several times you will see that it is corr3ct
21 is b those are misused metaphors
and for 21 isn’t it A as abstaining from alcohol is the same as sobriety
They mean the same, but the sentence is not redundant. It's like saying:

@@AdamWebbCSEC ok thank you
24 is C
I think 53 is A.
