i love how they didn’t even show the ride; just the pre trip and a different mods and stories about the bikes. dope imo and still was enough to convince you to get one
Hey Frank, looks like you're living your dream. Congratulations. I'm going to get another way to carry extra fuel. My rotopax 1 gal. leaked and ruined the left turn signal. Also I prefer the Nelson-Rigg sport saddle bags to the tail bag. The crash bars look good. Keep the rubber down and ride on.
@WOODZMAN I guess it built pressure. Anyway, I'm not going to leave it on and full.
Hey Frank looks like you guys are having a real good time. Tell Scotty and Kevin both I said hi. You guys ride safe
Yea we have an endless playground out here in the mountains. We have been riding a lot lately.
Thanks !
This is Kevin, we are havin a heck of a time and tell yourself I said Howdy and hope you're doin well.
I like the looks of the new 2024 klx300. It looks like they upgraded the graphics and added LED headlight.
I bet for the 2024 model year, the crf300l will get the same changes.
Yea I seen a 24 KLX300 the other day and I noticed the LED headlight. That was nice.
I’m hoping that Honda will do the same for the 300L
Hi Frank, i guess il never have a CRF again, here in always wet roads in Scotland, the CRF has a great ability to lift all the rain from the road and put it on my feet, i assume the 300 is no better?
Hey thanks for the videos. I am looking at getting a preowned 300L and wanted to know if you felt there was a specific year that stood out as best or are they all pretty much the same? Thanks for any thoughts
All the 300Ls are the same so the year don’t matter as long as it has been taken care of
Thanks for the reply. I forgot to ask if either of your boys have ABS? I can't decide if I should only consider ABS bikes.
@scotcook5 they don’t have ABS, but I can say that if Scottie would have had ABS on his, it would have saved a him a few crashes.
If you’re good and confident in your front braking abilities then you don’t need ABS. If you don’t have a ton of experience the. I would recommend ABS
The oil filter is different too on the 2023 model.
@@davidray4128 I am positive. At point I was approaching 600 miles I called my dealer for an appointment to change oil. I asked if the service could be done while I waited. The Service Writer said it would be a long wait as he did not have the filter Honda listed for 2023 CRF300L. At any rate he gave me the part # and I went on the internet to find some. The only source I found was Revzilla. I order a few of the filters and changed the oil myself. The filter # is: 15410-K0A-DB1
Kind of miss my 300l.......... and as for dropping the bike its an off road machine its going to happen..... dropped my new one twice so far and wont be the last.....
Building memories with your Children are priceless Great job Frank . My father passed away early this morning Aug 2 2023 and we were three Generations of riding men , I sure wish I had the video footage just the content your putting out . Any way ride on and be safe and Thank God for all those precious moments !!
Hey John! So sorry about your father, main thing is you have the memories.
I definitely enjoy riding with my sons, I don’t want to grow old and sit back and wish I had done more with them.
The UA-cam channel will be something they can look back on when I’m king and gone.
Thanks so much for watching
I agree , I've been making videos of my boys racing , soon we'll have some footage of Missouri Adventure Polooza !!
