How do we know if the spur gear and motor pinion are compatible? I installed the pinion that came with the stock spur and 3650 motor and it seems to be perfect but I don't know, I haven't used it yet

You are fine with the 3650 motor, all stock components will fit, as that's the same size as the 550 brush motor

@@customtoyrevolution oh i have very beginner rc model jjrc q146 😅I installed a 4350kv motor but it keeps stalling when starting the move, then it goes well, I think the torque is too little. What is your suggestion?

We really need a SLIPPER CLUTCH gear system for that 104001 buggy. Wish you could figure one out .

I stopped making them. It was a proof of concept, and I only made a hand full for some hobbyist

You need that bearing, that's how you end up stripping the teeth of the spurgear
