Ooh Rah!! I know it's a older video thanks for posting. Live. Learn. Move on. Thank You both from both of you two gentlemen's number one follower. Everybody "fall in".
Great video, Ivain. I think it's very cost sufficient and a great idea for some people to build a home and retire back in their country of birth. But as for myself, I would choose to live here because I have a lot invested, and my whole entire family is living in the US. I totally agree with you about the cheaper taxes in the Caribbean and Africa, which would be a more desirable place to own a house. Great content. I enjoyed watching 👍👍👍
Good footage to get the best deal for land to build your home that will be yours to have to pass down to be comfortable once it's paid for it's all yours the Caribbeans or Africa.
@IvainTures I can build a house in Africa for about 20 to 50 thousand dollars .I can build a bathroom and bedroom in America for that, not including the land.
Great discussion . Decision depends on your pocket. If u already own house in USA, keep it while u sacrifice to build your other home in Africa over time until ready to move back.. and if u ever move to Africa - u can rent out / arbnb the USA home and generate income.. vice versa. Keeping the overseas property also provides flexibility to leave anytime since sometimes theres political instability in Africa depending on where you come from.. .. Another great advantage of owning abroad is access to health care as you get older. Healthcare service in africa is usually years behind. Home abroad means u can use it if u shld ever return to USA for medical reason or kids can come back overseas for education. My advice is always own a home in competitive markets that appreciate in value or generate income easily.. I own homes on both continents and planned those strategies years ago - when homes were affordable and its the best decision i ever made. Anyone living abroad for over a decade shld always think outside the box and strategic on any big purchases like homes. Smart purchases bring tremendous value for generations

Thank you so much for the kind words. I truly appreciate your time. I will keep on pushing. I cannot wait to visit the DRC one day. Africa is so beautiful, yet remains mostly unknown by most of us.
6:50 africas population is growing everyday, they at 1.4 billion vs black americans population that is at 30million. Africa is not dying at all. Theres plenty of food and water around and so much agriculture there.
The point of our parents immigrating to America was to give us as better future so we can invest back in Africa. It’s time for diasporeans to invest in our land. We amass wealth in the states to buy resources that we already have in Africa. It makes no sense.
Very interesting question. One should also consider the kids who are born in the diaspora. Most of these kids would prefer to live in the USA or Europe because of their friends and families. 😢.
I use to visit silversprings back in the early 2000's, my exgirlfriend lives there, actually she's the cousin to tupac shakur aka 2pac. I love the ethiopian resturants and food there in Washington DC
****Carpet in the bedroom in Africa? Man, there is a lot of dust, that wouldn't be a good idea. Install tile so they can mope the floor. Throw Arabic rug in the middle of the floor space.
Africans have it a lot better than people of Caribbean origin because land and housing in the Caribbean is very expensive whereas in Africa is it much cheaper.
One of the best friendships that was broken 😢
Seems as if they lived and learned. I follow both of them with no judgement.
Time heals all wounds
