Thing is, Yanami knows him best, dragged him into all this mess, and helps him in a lot of ways while trying to play the scumbag(not that she isn't lmao), and is essentially the reason he has all these developments. And of course, our boy Nukumizu being the ever so considerate and observant person he is, despite being hazardously oblivious, knows this well. Komari and Yanami are both IMO the best fits for him as far as the anime goes, but with how Yanami lives in his head rent free, and how the anime often has him focused on her whenever she's in his vision, and how overwhelmingly more screentime she has, it could be a tell which one the author is gonna settle with. That being said, the characters are so endearing that either of them losing is painful.

Komari is very skittish and it's hard to get close to her, Nukumizu only managed cuz loners unite lmfao. Ultimately, everyone has theiur share of red and green flags, it's the ratio that matters. And again, that doesn't change the fact that Yanami lives in Nukumizu's head, rent-free

However, her relationship with Nuku is developing in an intriguing direction. Even though she isn't the losing heroine, she has been part of the story from the very beginning and gets a lot of screen time. I'm curious to see what will happen in the future books.

However, I tried to do it carefully and with respect for the source material. This video was also taken down, and I had to re-edit it, which is why the ending is more chopped up than the rest of the video. I think those little comments of mine appearing in the corner are unnecessary too, but at least they don’t stand out much. I added them just for fun because I didn’t think anyone would actually watch this video :)
If Nukumizu were to end up with one of them, Komari, I feel, would be the overall best choice. They're gradually pushing each other out of their comfort zones and being confidants to each other.

This show was ok. They kept bringing romance with the MC into every heroine’s arc at some point and then we didn’t get any definitive route. I mean, why even have a romance tag then.

Nukumizu is really stupid, apparently... She clearly has an issue with public speaking and wanted to get better, but he kept shutting her down. Instead of just listening and giving her an audience to work with, he wanted to 'help' her by taking away her agency. That last scene annoyed me, brushing it off as him being an 'airhead' when it's a lot worse than that.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of how all that ended. He didn't even give her a chance and immediately decided she couldn't do it. He didn't support her or encourage her in any way, so when the time came, of course she wasn't ready and fumbled. And him swooping in at the last second was the ultimate humiliation. This was a chance to help her with her anxiety, but he couldn't see that. I get he's a little socially unaware because he's never had friends before, but this was at the very end of the season, and he's shown he's not an idiot. His actions will be more damaging than helpful in the long run if he insists on coddling her whenever things get rough. I hope they actually bring this up in the future if we ever get another season.
