Hi Daniel. Are you able to do a video on item pricing/shipping from your perspective of a UK seller using a US print provider. Covering the subject of tax too as the price changes from what has been set due to UK Tax.
I wasn't about branding for probably 18 months. As close as I came for a long time was using a heart that people recognized of mine. Then I decided I wanted to change up my UA-cam channel and change my icon, so I went through and created an entire branding kit using Canva. Now I have the fonts I like in there, the color palette, my little logo that I designed, and the background piece that I use for everything. And I'm learning how to incorporate it into my shop. I won't say sales have improved... Yet, but when I do markets in person, I get a lot of compliments on the cohesive nature of my tags and business cards all looking nice together. So while it's a work in progress, it's coming together nicely. And people are recognizing me on Etsy after finding me on UA-cam.
I absolutely love this. I think it’s great that you recognize the importance of this and the amazing progress you have made so far! Thanks so much for sharing 🙌🏽
I'm all about branding. I want to leave my mark. And i want people to like my creations because they connect with my story and my experiences. They relate to me, so they relate to my products.
Daniel, I completely get what you're saying about having strong branding, but when looking at a listing on Etsy it is almost impossible to get to the shop. I only found a link by selecting a listing and then scrolling almost to the bottom of the page where you can find a "Meet Your Seller" link and even then it's not easy to see the shop (although you can follow the shop which really goes to your point on branding. Do you have any advice for making a shop more prominent in listings?
Thanks for your comment! I understand where you’re coming from. In addition to scrolling to the bottom of a listing, a clickable shop link also appears right at the top. Something I personally also do is add a photo card to each listing that acts as a call-to-action for the viewer to visit my shop. I include my shop name, some images of related or popular items in my shop, as well something like “check out my store to see more like this”. I then also include a call-to-action in the listing descriptions, along with a hyperlink to my storefront or to specific sections. I know it’s not a perfect solution, but I’ve found that it does help drive more shop traffic by encouraging shoppers to check out my store. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions 😊
@@EtsyDaniel That's a really great idea to put your shop name and more products in an image (can it also be a link?). That sort of thing relly drives home your message about branding .... it's a no-brainer that someone who likes a listing will always love your shop if it has similar things!!! I appreciate your thoughts.
I’m glad you agree 😊 You sadly cannot add a clickable link to listing photos. You could however add a sentence like “link in description”. Again, a bit of a workaround, but could work!

Great idea! I’ll look into doing a video on that 🙌🏽
