وہ دلاور جو سیہ شب کے شکاری نکلے
وہ بھی چڑھتے ہوئے سورج کے پجاری نکلے
سب کے ہونٹوں پہ مرے بعد ہیں باتیں میری
میرے دشمن مرے لفظوں کے بھکاری نکلے
اک جنازہ اٹھا مقتل میں عجب شان کے ساتھ
جیسے سج کر کسی فاتح کی سواری نکلے
ہم کو ہر دور کی گردش نے سلامی دی ہے
ہم وہ پتھر ہیں جو ہر دور میں بھاری نکلے
عکس کوئی ہو خد و خال تمہارے دیکھوں
بزم کوئی ہو مگر بات تمہاری نکلے
اپنے دشمن سے میں بے وجہ خفا تھا محسنؔ
میرے قاتل تو مرے اپنے حواری نکلے
