Has anyone done a cover of Roger's drum solo? Its the only drum solo that sounds like someone ordering something, pizza or cinese or japanese. Sorry, loved it soooo much
In one instance Brian’s solo took like 10 minutes and Freddie backstaged said “for god sakes, let’s go shopping get me out of here” or something like that
We always talk about how Freddie owned the crowd. But I love so much how Brian, in a far sober way, moves all around the stage and looks straight to the fans so they can show him love and joy. Freddie was the master of playing with the crowd, but quite remotely actually, he could hear them but not see them in a certain way. Although Brian doesn't make them do anything, he has that kind of silent (if not for the guitar) and physical closeness through the way that him and the crowd look at each other. I love it, it feels like he would thank the fans one by one if he could.
The video quality is outstanding !! Such a young version of Roger Taylor !! Looks as if this footage was shot yesterday (Brian always look the same to me LOL). It feels unreal to me.
Man! I have the same feeling and I want to watch it over and over and over again on a big screen! The show was...epic!!!!!!! So professional! I felt like I was there
QUEEN FOREVER
It was awesome to see this done live. I was at Madison Square Garden in NYC on the opening leg of the US tour for "the Game" in September 1980. Thanks for bringing me back!
Thanks Chief, You're Uploads are underrated and deserve thousands of views appreciate these uploads in such good quality although Crazy Little Thing Called Love & one other video has some major audio problems.
At minute 1:05 Roger tried to hit the saucer, but he got out of hand and couldn't. It is admirable that after many songs played you can still make yourself a drum solo. Big Roger🖤✨ Usé Google traductor, saludos desde México 🇲🇽
Thanks for this background story, I had no idea & now people all around know as they appreciate this Montreal 81 that I consider top of the tops! Chief Mouse u&everyone did GREAT!👏👏👏👏👏 Fitting for her majesty - Queen😊😀😁😄☺😃😂
4:09 Fellow guitarists, I’ve lost my musical ear and can’t get a hold of a guitar nowadays. For the love of god, can someone please tell me what chord that is?
Wow!!! Not a lot like Brian's Toronto solo(saw&heard it) of 81 BUT!!!! Fun fact: My best friend since 3 years of age was Shawn. He was studying for a high school final exam and I was supposed to be helping him. Going through a shoebox of Pictures etc, I came upon Shawn's Birth Certificate. He had been observing his Birth day on 27 July...He was actually born on the 20th. His Mom had left at 2 yrs. of age and his Father Drove a train. Unorganized. I told him and, as we were both fried...well you can imagine. Plus my birthday was 18 July. As we grew we discovered Queen and both freaked over Brian. I became a guitarist toured and recorded. So, Life goes on, Shawn Gets cancer at 45. Beats it and clears the 5 yr Standard. Gets it again 6 yrs after the first . Dies. The day he passed I was out side his room reading the Stone and discovered that Mine, Brian's and Shawn's were sequential ... 18th, 19th and 20th of July!!!!! I was going to show Shawn but he was going & he never Knew. I think it would have made him smile. In it's entirety, this was all supposed to be funny. I went right off track.
Roger is an epic drummer :D
Has anyone done a cover of Roger's drum solo? Its the only drum solo that sounds like someone ordering something, pizza or cinese or japanese. Sorry, loved it soooo much
Hot space I know 🤩😍😍😍😍😍🤤
Brian is an epic guitarist
Very underrated.
Freddie'd be thinking " You guys done yet?".
Hahahahaha. I laughed on this hahahahaha
He’s backstage having a glass of champagne and a tug job dear.
In one instance Brian’s solo took like 10 minutes and Freddie backstaged said “for god sakes, let’s go shopping get me out of here” or something like that
I bet John thought as well.
Vincent Vasquez That’s just called performing Brighton Rock.
The stamina Roger has for his drums are immense

Yeah definitely!
A very young Roger Taylor with incredible drums and percussion skills..
Roger's drumming in this solo is just so sexy.
brian's solo just brought me to another world
Hehe, another world, hehe
The video quality is outstanding !! Such a young version of Roger Taylor !! Looks as if this footage was shot yesterday (Brian always look the same to me LOL). It feels unreal to me.
Plot twist: the camera men are time travelers who wanted us to have this version.
It was shot on film instead of tape
Last night went to watch this performance in IMAX and I just loved it! Roger's energy in incredible!
Man! I have the same feeling and I want to watch it over and over and over again on a big screen! The show was...epic!!!!!!! So professional! I felt like I was there
the way they can just make eye contact and know how to play together shows how great their friendship and chemistry is
the way roger looks at Brian calling him
I wonder why John doesn't do solo. Maybe that's not his thing.. ^_^
John was very shy and preferred to steer clear from the spotlight unless Freddie was backing him up
He actually did a bass solo in Liar Live at The Rainbow!
Bass solos are rare.
John also does a great solo on the song 'Dragon Attack'
He rarely does solos, but when he does, it's sounds awesome!

OOOOO THIS GETS ME GOING GOD I WISH I WERE BORN EARLIER. YOU DON'T SEE THIS KIND OF THING ANYMORE AND IT IS SO SAD.
Luckily I was born at the right time. :) I did get to see them do this live a few months earlier at Madison Square Garden in September 1980.
6:23 I was shocked when Roger came back LOL
You have no idea how many times i came back, cause i think i can hear roger's breath😏

2:09 the best gitaris moment ever !🎸🎸
All four were equally great musicians!!
I like Rogers's outfit. It's probably favorite look of his. Black skinny jeans, white Adidas or Nike, and a bandana.
Now THIS is called getting the ladies
Thanks SO MUCH for posting what is probably the highest quality Queen footage available.
Queen musicians are all virtuosos.
Amen ✌🏼
I love Queen forever!!!

QUEEN FOREVER
Brian always enjoyed having a battle with the lights.
Rog is amazing!!!!❤

Saw them in the 70s
LUCKY!!
Such a young and beautiful we were...
Now we just beautiful 😢
Thanks Chief, You're Uploads are underrated and deserve thousands of views appreciate these uploads in such good quality although Crazy Little Thing Called Love & one other video has some major audio problems.
True about the audio - I've no idea why is that, as you see other Montreal uploads are fine. Perhaps I might re-upload the damaged videos.
Doesn't worry me mate, Just wasn't sure if you knew or not i have the Full Concert on Blu Ray with a lot of other Queen Concerts
oh roger my love dont hit me so hard.🤗🤗🤗
One of the most badass things you can see in your life, by the way ...
Roger Talylor Solo Live Montreal imperdivel
Didn't Roger once say that he doesn't like doing whole drum solos, which was why he stopped doing them?
He doesn't like doing longer ones.
I like guitar solo
It's awesome. Thank you.
IT'S JUST EPIC
Thank you so much Chief! What a quality picture! Vraiment incroyable! Merci!

Roger, lindo tudo isso sem dúvida.
6:00 Brian experiences Tear it up, but he doesn't know it yet
✌🏼👍
5:34 it's EVH hahaha
It always stresses me out to see Brian playing. It always seems that it cost him a lot, that he was suffering.
This is called "The Instrumental Inferno!!"
Magical
4:09 Fellow guitarists, I’ve lost my musical ear and can’t get a hold of a guitar nowadays.
For the love of god, can someone please tell me what chord that is?
Pretty sure that’s not a a chord
DuckOverlord Thanks, whatever it is, it sounds great! :)
Bro that is 100000% E Major chord
It’s definitely an E5 chord open low E, fret 2 on A and D string, but the 2 delays at 800 and 1600 milliseconds make it sound huge
Thank guys. Keep on rocking.
No words. No a fuckin words needed
Brian and Roger are my heroes

I like Roger's pants...
5:22😍😍😍
it's apparently 21:35
