Baradul, the UAV is another spotter on the field the sparrow has a tag for every round bonuses and still has the single hex Ping. I install it on the fastest mech I have, Launch first round catch up to the team round 2 and 3. It is not an attack so you CAN do it the first round.
yeah i always have my melee mech carry around a UAV launcher for when it's running amok between enemies but don't actually have anyone of the enemies within range of a regular melee hit
Getting some Oil ammo for the Fluid guns would be far better in almost all circumstances so I'd highly recommend prioritising finding some. There's a diminishing return on heat damage based that's explained (albeit back in 2020) on the RT Discord, pinned in the Q&A channel: "Each weapon that deals heat damage reduces subsequent heat damage to the target by 2% until it's next activation. This is the effective heat reduction of up to 45 stacks of that effect." As far as I understand it it means you should prefer fewer larger heat weapons, presumably MML20 RISC with C Inferno are some of the best if you could get them.
I gotta say the S-Hawk Firebird LAM with my SRM 52 build just shreds anything that happens to cross its path. 100 ton assault mechs usually die in one turn. It is like: Oh there is a mech that can be really dangerous. Ah there goes a mech that could have been really dangerous. The only thing you dont wanna see is a Mauler Rumie or Viking Northman.
To do flamers justice you either need Jade Falcon flamers or ER flamers....which is a lot of farm:) You can also do the raretech flamers like hotshots etc.
flamefists are also fun on an HBK-5L (9 Energy slots on the right torso) with the battlefists quirk, filling up the right torso all with hotshot flamers will guarantee whatever you're punching isn't getting back up
LAM are rarely the killer you *want* them to be, due to just not having enough space / weight for all the things. You aren't far off from the best build; one-slot, low weight weapons, limited need for ammo beyond the wing mount ammo stuff. And for that, yeah, phoenix, AGM, quad, or guided bombs. HE/Cluster can be fun, but rarely do enough damage to really shine.
@@FunkThompson 6x small vspls are great at sniping engines from the back and every other tonnage is spent on making sure it can zip from flank to flank
Do you recommend playing mech warrior online legends, I’m looking for a new player vs player mech game and it looks pretty intriguing but does it still have an active playerbase?
Society, clan coyote, clan burrock. High-level Comstar/Wob and funny enough Clan Wolf. Clan Wolf has them installed in the Lone Wolf Direwolf variants, so if you want to farm them you should not pick these up, because if you do any Lone Wolf that you have already in your roster, is transfigured automatically into a Direwolf Prime before it hits the loot screen.
They have a lot of firepower in easy-to-hit squishy packages. I do the same thing. Any weapon carrier on the field, and the JES counts, is a priority target.
@@thomasgebhardt484 I understand it, it's just that the AI focuses all of it's units onto that one vehicle instead of two, three, or maybe four units like we do, the jes that was destroyed was targeted by at least half the units the AI had, and that includes the turrets. What I would like to see is the AI switching targets if the first two or three attacks opens up the vehicle on one or more sides, forcing the player to mave it away from battle and maybe the AI targeting it again the next turn or something similar.
just did the mml with clan i ferno, works a treat w emp chaff and smoke with the whole team. how do you operate with 2 million?! I get nervous when I go below 10million 😅

MML with a rack size of 10+ are such fantastic brawler weapons, nothing beats just slamming someone with 30-50 SRM’s
If you can get your hands on a flamer fcs it will take that cat to a whole new level.

I always have a difficult time building my mechs into a very specific min/max role. It hurts!

The ones that can carry a gun or melee weapon are a bit better, but same deal, too many things using up the same limited space / weight.

What Clan faction did you get the Nova Cews from. im trying to farm those, my lances have the C3/C3I which aint bad but id like the Nova Cews tech

We need to talk to the modders about the AI always targeting vehicles, regardless of how dangerous they actually are...
