Morgan James is so much more than a singer with a "powerful voice", and her songs aren't mere "covers". This is a Postmodern-Jukebox-like re-interpretation, this is Blues-redone all over: Her amazing vocal control and raw power are tamed by smooth, sexy, powerful improvisations that are concluded softly, with a happy, almost mischievous smile, giving off a deceptive air of casualness. This is a postmodern celebration of Blues, a younger and irreverent Blues, without the pathos but with all the musical richness.
After years of suffering from musical ear-infections, I discovered Mogan James. Her music is powerful medicine on which I am happy to self-medicate and overdose! Bring it on!

Yes, she would guaranteed. I don't see however why she would, her career has already surpassed what almost anyone who have ever won a singing competition has accomplished. Do you guys know of any winner who has actually had a carrier after winning? Only one i can think of is Olly Murs.
+Jens Andersson Many accomplished but not mainstream artists went on the voice. Some already had few albums out like Laith Al-Saadi last season which made a huge boost to his album sales. Only few however make it big after the voice. Usually country singers...
It is kind of funny--Morgan James has been a success on Broadway since 2010 (which is as hard as it gets for Musical Theater), is a Juliard graduate (not good enough for Opera, but has studied it), and now 'popular' with PMJ. But these are different worlds.....she is currently my favorite 'popular' vocalist specifically because she has brought ARTICULATION back. I like words!! Both of my kids sing and are very inspired by her. :)
From American Idol, Kelly Clarkson. and Carrie Underwood were winners that went on to big success. To a lesser extent, Reuben Studdard, Jordin Sparks, Fantasia, Phillip Philllips, Clay Aiken, Scott Mcreery. Some of the runner ups went to have successful careers: Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, Katharine McFee, Chris Daughtry, Kellie Pickler.
