The First Ever Parachute Jump! 🪂

October 22nd marks the 225th anniversary of 1797’s first ever recorded parachute jump.
A student of the inventor Jacques Charles, a co-creator of the first unmanned hydrogen-gas balloon. André-Jacques Garnerin himself would also become a balloonist so beloved in his craft he would even be appointed the Official Aeronaut of France.
