India have won last 3 consecutive t20i series in Australia against Australia on such grounds so our players are very much familiar to these boundaries, pitches and glamorous atmosphere. 2016, 2018 and 2020 t20i series against Australia were won by India on these same grounds. While others have struggled to win t20i series on these grounds. England won it after long time otherwise they always get hammered, whether its New Zealand, Pakistan , England, West Indies, Srilanka and Zimbabwe. Only India and South Africa have been competitive on these big and fast grounds both in Tournaments and against Australia. Go watch all the matches of England, New Zealand, Pakistan, Srilanka, West Indies in Australia and compare them with South Africa and India and see who's the most competitive. Indian grounds are bigger than Kiwi grounds with maximum average. Don't judge England based upon this bilateral series or don't judge Australia based upon this series. As per my opinion the 4 semi finalists will be South Africa, Australia, India and Srilanka (underdogs)

I too am a lifelong test fan but t20 does certainly have its place in cricket. I just hope that there is enough investment into test cricket so that it doesn’t go extinct. It is painful to see high-caliber players prioritise t20 cricket over tests but at the same time it isn’t the players who are to blame.
