The choreo for 'Naughty' obviously was not the average Dance choreo. There is a LOT of Tutting involved (that is the finger and hand choreo) and there was a lot of Wacking involved (that's the big arm movements). This choreo is one of the most difficult for Dancers to pull off if they were not into Tutting or Wacking a lot beforehand. The technical side is BRUTAL so this took I&S MONTHS to get it down for a three minute song, when they can normally learn Dance choreo in a few days, maybe a week if there is a lot going on. Their backup dancers only had to learn that last half of the choreo. They are all heroes...
Monster MV came out first before everything. Naughty choreo is composed of tutting with voguing. It took them one month of practice of the basics in tutting and another three to learn Naughty's choreo because each verse actually has different choreo. For Irene's episode, they filmed it with another dancer then edited Irene's face on her. If you look closely, there are times when you can see how different the other Irene's face look because of the dancer's real face showing. As for the difference between Irene and Seulgi's dancing, Irene's dance is more on the elegant and flowy side, she also excels in isolation. On the other hand, Seulgi excels in hiphop the most especially boy group choreo because she trained with the boys, but she's also good at many other dance genres and is jokingly called Taemin's sister because of their similar dancing styles.
Just wanna say that the special episodes may hint their involvement in the Kwangya Universe (if you're not aware, SM has a lore which involves all of their artists and it is explained more on Aespa's side especially the SM Culture Universe episodes).
PS. Aseul's dancers are actually the same dancers they're still with till today. They're really close with them to the point Irene often give them gifts (one of Irene's love languages is gift giving so she tends to spoil people she loves with gifts).
Oh, yes and Seulgi is the Main Dancer of the group. :)
the red velvet sub unit is said to be a very perfect sub unit knetz people, they really got out of the red velvet image and really became IreneSeulgi, they got various awards with their sub unit,

I have 18 years of dance experience and I gave up learning this one before I even got to the first chorus 😂

Naughty's choreo is considered the hardest in kpop for ggs ever made. Only solos of one part have been done by other idols.
U will find out later that Seulgi have no flexibility so she is all hip hop when it comes to dancing and is the golden standard for performers in kpop while Irene can just keep up but we all know the power she holds.

I immediately understood that Soulgi is an amazing singer and dancer that I totally admire, but I don't know why I also immediately fell in love with Irene 😝
However, today they posted a video on UA-cam of Naughty and Monster rehearsing for their 2023 NYE performance 🤩
I remember the first time I heard Uncover, at the La Rouge concert, way before it was even released! I was instantly obsessed and I was so excited when it was finally announced to be released!!
Irene's episode of Naughty did have a stand-in: you can see it in the choreo dance practice they released for it. They just replaced the stand-ins face for Irene's: you can see in the episode itself that they are of slightly different heights.

In Episode 3 : Irene, yes there was another dancer with her with similar features, but they cleverly transitioned her with Irene when showing the closeup face.
I thought they imposed her face onto someone else!
@@roguereacts Yea, it seems like it, but in some timestamps you can see her face, when not in closeup. The dancer is Rosalin, you can watch them in Choreography version.🙌

in terms of dancing, i think seulgi definitely has a more hiphop dancing style, she has groove and popping/locking precision. but, yes, she also can do contemporary. Irene is more of the contemporary dancer imo. They are both good but since seulgi is the main dancer and has more versatility in her style.
Originally, the strongest 3rd generation girl group in Korea was Red Velvet. They are a more popular group than Blackpink or Twice.
It is only natural that their just before generation seniors are Girls' Generation. It's SM.

At first my bias was Joy, only because i saw her in a kdrama before i knew Red Velvet. And after seeing Irene in My ID is gangnam beauty…I mistakenly thought she was a snob ( i kearned quickly she WAS NOT😅) … so now my bias keeps changing (first saw seulgi in moonbyuls video) because they are all so adorably cute
the bias ride is quite a fun one with RV.... LOL pretty sure I now have an Irene/Seulgi bias line 🥰 they are both so funny and cute!
