“There Is A God”
Psalms 14:1-7
Theme: Only the fool denies God
Hebrew definition of Fool (שׁוֹטֶה):
Stupid, wicked, impious, vile, a person who rejects God
2 Things a fool says
1. There is no God (v1)
2. Take your ease, eat drink, and be merry
Luke 12:13-21

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are

8 Things a Fool Does
1. They deny the existence of God/ there is no God (v1)
2. They live corrupt lives (v1)
3. They are without understanding (v2)
4. They ignore God and do not see him (v2)
5. They have all gone astray from God and will become filthy in life (v3)
Isaiah 53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every
one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the
iniquity of us all.

1. Focus on the evidence that Christ existed, died on the cross, and came back from the dead
