What a great start for a new series x)
I know right, I played another cities and knights game where someone tried trading me the victory since another player was salty another winning, so ridiculous
nice win! after you got to 13 points I was glad to see Gray roll a 7 forcing Red to lose resources, basically sealing the deal. Honestly, I only enjoy playing & watching C&Ks. I'll take a look to see if you also play C&K w/ Seafarers, my favorite scenarios!
Yeah it was super satisfying getting the win in this game since it was basically a 2V1! I’ve been trying to play lots more c&k. I’ve played a few c&k and seafarers but there’s a couple maps I HATE. Basically any map that has those fog islands or whatever, it makes the game so much more random rather than strategic since you have no idea what kind of island you’re heading for.
gg!
This rude trading has only happened to me once luckily!
I would have traded for paper very early if I were you, the Aqueduct as you said is very powerful. Could've won earlier imo.
You’re definitely right about the aqueduct, over time you get so much more value out of it 😎
interesting series but i did not know many rulesXD
would be nice if you could link a ruleset in the descriptioN/short summary of the new things?
you did explain them during the vid which was very nice
Fair enough Cities and knights has a lot more rules so there’s definitely a bigger learning curve. Took me a while to figure out the rules and still getting better. I’ll definitely include a link to cities and knights rules/tips. I know Treeckosaurus has some good cities and knights tips. Thanks for the suggestion!
when U upgraded to your second metropolis you should have activated wedding as well
I wasn’t able to use the wedding since you can only use it on players who have more victory points than you. I believe I was leading this whole game so I couldn’t use it but I may be mistaken 😎
It takes two to be assailed here. I think red accepting clear printmaking trades is just as lousy.
I'm curious if you could have used your intrigue to kick one of reds' knights and then build one of your own to break his long road? There were a couple turns where I think you had the resources, I'm just not sure exactly how that works in C&K.
True! It’s just as bad to accept rude trades in Catan I’d agree. In terms of my intrigue I actually kinda forgot about it as the game went on lol, but you might be right that there could’ve been a way to break up the road and possibly take it. The knight also breaks up roads just like building a settlement does in the base game, thanks for the comment 😎
I thought city walls give you +2 cards, reduce barbarian damage to walls only, and prevent theft from the robber if the robber moved adjacent to the walled city? There a change to the rules?
If that were true then city walls would be the most overpowered thing in Catan ever LOL. As far as I know city walls only help you with 7 outs, so yeah +2 card hand size. They don’t do anything to protect you from the robber/barbarians
@@catanblunders5113 Sounds like a fun house rule ... last time I played Cities & Knights in a local game, that was the rule at the table.
I would had pointed my road from the 9-5-6 down toward the wood harbour, just because the brick harbour is down there to, an both are good late game, also better knight to protec your 6.
but kinda good game, Hate when someone give up an try give the win, was in a game when one started helping another guy, I was losing to, so I had to start help the orther guy to balance it out(my guy won).
I agree with what you mention about the road, the knight protecting the 6 is defs better! That’s a pretty funny situation you ran into 😂 glad your guy won
Let me know if you guys enjoy the Cities and Knights gameplays, I can definitely do more.
Thanks for stopping by the video and be sure to drop a like 👍 and SUBSCRIBE 😎
Hi, I was the green player, and I made those trades because 5 games ago you stole from me when I was leading.
Oh so that was you! Well I think stealing from you when you were leading makes sense doesn’t it? I assume you made a typo and meant to say losing. Anyway let’s say I stole from you when you’re losing, that’s quite a bit different than what you did in this game, don’t you say? Maybe I was going after a specific resource you had or maybe I had a different reason. Either way I don’t think that justifies the way you played this game in the end but at the end of the day you can play however you want. But you gotta admit you gotta be a pretty petty person to carry that over from a different game
@@idoacd Ok so let me get this straight, 5 games ago he stole from you because he wanted a certain resource and you get mad about it. Not This game, not last game, 5 games ago. Like how much of a sore loser do you have to be to do something like that? grow up lol. Maybe instead of playing like a donkey and ruining the fun for everyone, you should take that time and energy and think of what you can do better next time x)
@@idoacd why you such a fun sponge
