This weekend I shaved my head. I've followed you for 18 months, as a 50yo man there have been tears and nights of stress, there have been days filled with a personal shame that my hair defined me. This last 48 hours has been the most empowering moments I can remember for years. I have no regrets except wishing I'd done it sooner. To all of you that continue to support and encourage and listen and motivate. Thank you all, I will forever be grateful. @baldcafe - I will forever be grateful.
2 months in and getting a little sun up top, got the daily shower shave locked down, skin colouring up nicely and the reactions have been so positive. I am empowered... thanks to you all. If you're reading this... and on the cliff edge, wondering if you should...all I can say is I smile, I am now living, I am no longer scared of being judged. I feel like me again... and it's such an awesome feeling. I'm cheering for you.
I’m 23 and i’m balding slowly from 18 years old . Today was the day that i decided to shave my head. I dont know if i can accept it even now but this chanel helped me a lot and im feeling some relief man ..
You actually had the same hair loss as me, and I also styled it the same. Buzzed mine a couple of years ago, thanks to this channel. Suits you much better now man. You really rock that new look.
Man, I have the same pattern. 29 now and it's not as far as with the person in the video. But it is stressing me out.. I don't go swimming anymore, wind is something I hate, I almost always carry a hairbrush or at least a hat with me, just in case... How do I get the courage to just buzz it? I'm scared I'm gonna look like shit
I'm 33 years old, I've had a long hair (ponytail) for over a decade. I've been watching baldcafe videos for over 2 years I think. I knew that my hair was receding from the front sides and I was saying to myself that if it started getting worse or I started losing hair from the crown area then I would shave it all off. At the end of the past month my sister was visiting and she did notice my hair and told me that I was balding from the crown area. From that point on I kept taking pictures as if I was trying to reassure myself that my hair is indeed thinning a bit from the crown area. I had to do something about it and in this month I've decided to cut my hair so I cut it myself, I went from having a ponytail to having my hair shorter, my family thought that it looked good but to me now the bald spot is more noticeable to me. I've kept that look for a little over a week but just 3 days ago, I've decided to shave it all off. I went to the bathroom with the shaving machine and started shaving it with no guard, and then took my time with the razor blade, I knew if I started thinking too much then I might hesitate again. So far some of my family saw me and were fine with it, just my mom thought that my hair was fine as it was before and I didn't need to shave it all off but I showed her a picture of how it looked (the crown area) so she would understand. Last night I have played football with some of my brothers and friends and they were fine with me being bald. When I do go outside I still need to do that without wearing a hat so that is my next step. I hope this is going to help whoever is reading it or at least let you know that 1- you are not alone. 2- the reaction from people is not as bad as you think it would be. 3- Nothing wrong with being bald. I have learned a lot from Harry and all the guys that shared their stories through videos and the comments so thank you everyone.
Cheers bud, I just turned 34 and literally the exact same. I'm so used to caps whenever/wherever I go so that's my next step also. I'm working on it but wish you all the best
@@BeyondtheIights Thanks a lot man. I think it only gets easier. I shaved it all off once and that was the hardest since I have never done that. Fast forward now my hair is very short not bald now but I am more comfortable to shave it all off again and I'm actually thinking of doing it again. I think It is all about being comfortable with yourself and accepting yourself as well when it comes to caps you can either decide to take it off immediately or take some small steps.
Went through the same thing, now that I cut my hair super short almost bald my gf doesn’t care. The reality is, we are subconscious about our looks, everyone is, Men and women. But let’s focus on what we can control and not what is out of our reach!
This guys looks so much BETTER after shaving it off. He looks great! I finally did it two years ago, when I was 42. I probably should have done it in my mid-30s. I can't tell you how many benefits it's brought me. I'm now growing out my beard- I'm 5 months in.

I did this a couple days ago after watching your channel for months, which really helped me Ive never felt better with myself, im getting a lot of compliments and have a lot of confidence again!
This page is amazing and brings me back to when I started thinning and going bald. Currently 35yo and started thinning by 20yo. Kept on getting worse the further into my 20s I got. Went to the comb over route FOR YEARS unfortunately. Tried so hard to hide it. And with that endless insecurities along with it. Like is it windy out? Is it raining? Do I need to take my hat off for any reason? Not to mention dating, totally destroyed any confidence I had thinking like is it noticeable? Fast forward to when I was freaking 30yo FINALLY buzzed it all off and I can’t begin to describe how absolutely liberating it was. I felt so free and actually liked the look which I felt gave me a more masculine aesthetic. I always had facial hair and was able to grow an epic beard so did that as well and all I’ll say to conclude is that if anyone is reading this debating whether or not to grab the clippers just go for it and take the plunge it’ll be life changing. I wish I did it in my early 20s and not fight it until I was 30.
@@xXTiggaBoBXx Totally understand where you're coming from. That fear stopped me for years from doing it. Eventually just did it, it was nerve racking but for me personally, wish i did it sooner. Good luck with whatever you decide.

My problem is that pretty much all of the guys in these videos have a very decent hairline, which makes it much easier to pull off the buzz cut. I have a completely irregular hairline, it's totally uneven, i'm not talking about receding hairline, i'm talking asymetrical hairline. It would look freaking ridiculous with a buzz cut. 8:28 exactly my point and view ❤️❤️ all thing am waiting for my partner to accept will discuss freely about it..
You are very good looking guy. Even with combover you are fine. Buzzcut is on fire though. God bless.
Definitely looks better. The haircut was short but the clipper guard looked long. And it looked like he used a different guard on the sides. Does anyone know what size guard he used.
