Great song, but I kinda prefer the image, especially with the symbolism I thought of for it.
Kris is holding their soul close to their heart, as if protecting themself from the pain and suffering of others.
Frisk, on the other hand, is practically showing off their soul, as if saying that they'll suffer with and for the people around them. I feel the other souls behind Frisk symbolize the bonds they've made- the friends that they've laughed, fought and cried with.
The actual symbolism might be different, but that's my take on it, even if said take has minimal relations to the lore of Undertale and Deltarune.
True that, I honestly thought the soul was the players and that each of they both treat it differently.
Kris keeps it close to their chest, still untrusting, and doesn’t want us to risk or ruin their life. Whereas Frisk is completely open with us, having freed the underground already.

Deltarune before the game (real)
I was just thinking about a Frisk battle in Deltarune when this popped up in my recommendations. This is quite a nice remix too, working in leitmotifs from Your Best Friend and Undertale's main theme (the part most people will recognise from Hopes and Dreams) to add to the message sent here that Deltarune and Undertale are connected - and to prove it, the main protagonists from both games are going head-to-head. Keep up the good work, and if you don't mind I shall now describe what I was thinking in terms of this battle in excessive detail.
My idea was that Frisk would be one of the superbosses, hidden in a similar fashion to Jevil in Chapter 1. They would appear in the final chapter, being accessible through a secret area called 'Memory Mountain'. The area is based on Mt. Ebott (where Undertale took place) and features an all-star cast of enemies from Undertale. There's also a few minibosses, which are 'Memory Spirits' that take the forms of Undertale's main bosses (Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, etc.). You can use the same techniques to spare the Memory Spirits as you would the bosses they take the form of, although some may have minor alterations - Papyrus can still be spared by stalling until the battle ends, but Undyne would have to be spared through excessive use of either Plead or Challenge ACTs to make her lose focus and allow you to escape. However, just before a Memory Spirit battle ends, Frisk will suddenly jump in and end the fight in the opposite way to how you would've ended it - if you were sparing the enemy they'd kill them with one attack and vice versa - hammering home the fact that your choices don't matter in Deltarune.
When you get to the end of Memory Mountain, you'll meet Frisk for the last time on the mountain's summit. They initially have their back to you and speak from the top like Undyne does before her fight in Undertale. Their opening dialogue would probably go something like this:
* Your choices don't matter...
* I learned that lesson the hard way.
* It's just a cold, hard truth...
*Frisk turns to the right*
* I started my journey the same way you did.
* By falling into uncharted territory.
* It's a new world to explore, with many people and places to play with.
* You'd wander around this world, dealing with problems however you see fit.
* And ultimately, your actions would decide the fate of that world.
*They hesitate for a bit and turn back around*
* But don't be deceived.
* All your choices will ultimately lead you to the same place.
* And once you get there, you only have one choice...
* ...RESET....
* And then, in the blink of an eye...
* Everything's back the way it was.
*They turn to the left*
* Heh heh...
* To think I could change the world with my determination.
* Determination is what allowed me to travel time.
* I thought I could exercise this power to change the outcome, for better or for worse.
* But all it did was bring me right back where I started.
* Some power, all right.
* Now I see why he gave up way back when....

* This twisted dreamscape is nowhere near that area!

* I guess some choices can change a few things.
* They won't affect the outcome of your journey...
* ...but they can change the outcome of a battle.
* Prove it to me, human.
* Show me what worth your choices have!
*They leap into battle position as the fight begins*
From then on, it's a tough battle where Frisk uses attacks based on the equipment you can obtain throughout the course of Undertale. If you die during the fight and return from your SAVE point, the intro will just be Frisk leaping into battle position and starting the fight again. I've no idea what ACTs would work on Frisk, but I'd imagine a mercy victory would just be about exhausting them through using whatever ACTs are available and then sparing them once you've ACTed enough.
I should also mention that Pacify wouldn't be a factor in this, primarily because I reckon the fight should be a one-on-one between Kris and Frisk. It'll feel like fighting Trainer Red in Pokemon, with a former protagonist being portrayed as a strong opponent and somewhat of a living legend.

I love the concept...but I don't like the fact of how Frisk acts...I'm not saying it's a bad idea.. infact if I could change it, I'd say that side of the fight would work if you went to basically a genocide route+ Snow Grave route. My idea, if you still continue the pacifist route is through that route you explain but the spirit's Don't die and when you meet Frisk, they ask you,

Well let me explain a bit, at the end of the chapter one he rips out his soul because that was your control thats why you had the ability to control Kris's walking animations right before he ripped out his soul think about it within both deltarune and undertale you controlled the soul. Once he ripped out the soul you lose the ability to control him and at the end when he summons that knife and stares at you with that spooky grin im pretty sure thats him threatening you and not all the monsters considering he stares specifically at you.

Two humans stand, silently facing each other in Asriel's realm.
Color still swirls by from the Pacifist ending.
"Why?" Kris asks.
Frisk has no answer. S/he knows no answer.
Kris sighs. "Well then." He draws his sword and lunges.
10 HP out of Frisk's 20. Seeing no option, s/he calls for help. The six human souls radiate around her and glow, bright, brighter, yet brighter.
*The real battle is about to begin.*
Kris strikes, but is repelled by a green shield.
*You're filled with Kindness.*
Undeterred, Kris charges again, swinging his sword to avoid the golden bullets being fired at him by the yellow soul.
*You're filled with Justice.*
Now it's Frisk's turn. Books open, floating in front of her, and words begin to peel off the pages, streaming towards Kris, who dodges all but two. He couldn't make them out.
*You're filled with Perseverance.*
Suddenly Kris is thrown to the ground, his SOUL dark blue. "You're blue now," Frisk whispered with a nostalgic smile.
*You're filled with Integrity.*
Light blue hearts fly toward Kris, and he unsuccessfully dodges one and promptly takes a hit to his HP. The next one goes through him while he's standing still, passing through him. He remembers now and freezes, all remaining attacks passing through his SOUL without damaging it.
*You're filled with Patience.*
Kris starts swinging his sword at Frisk's SOUL, which fades a bit orange, causing her/him to move much faster, dodging all of Kris's attacks while the SOUL of Justice fires small bullets.
*You're filled with Bravery.*
Suddenly Kris is hit by multiple bullets in rapid succession. Only 1 HP remains. Frisk stands over him, and their eyes meet momentarily. Frisk's SOUL starts to glow red.
*You're filled with DETERMINATION.*
S/he smiles and offers Kris a hand, pressing a newly appeared button that says MERCY simultaneously. He takes the offered band and the two of them leave the realm and the SOULS behind.
"Maybe you aren't so bad after all, Frisk."

Fun thing the symbol of the royal family in undertale is called "The Delta rune" and it represents the angel that would save the monsters and finally bring them to the surface
