Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments.
I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree and I am currently working as a Project Control Engineer.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my UA-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer. I was also a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers and we actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011. I was also the Glee Club President and the singing trainer for various competitions when I was in the university which was a humbling experience for me.
Ever since, I started watching television as a kid, I realized that I enjoy analyzing and commenting on things related to singing performances. I believe this was the foundation of my interest towards making a reaction channel.
I am a self-motivated, and a disciplined soul. I am always keen to up-skill myself by learning new things whenever I get a chance.
My real strength is my attention to detail. I pride myself on being sensitive to the beauty of vocal embellishments, be it major or very subtle.
Most importantly, I keep my reactions real and natural.

Fiq Halim is singing reality program and came out 1st place. He is so good but somehow he just doesn't get much attention, even few songs he had goes nowhere. Its a pity.

There was a moment, when i was young.. i was so afraid that later on when awie n amy search old...i mean after 50 plus age.. no more young guns who could continue their voice legacy.. but after about10 years... there we have Aweera, Epul Dramaband, Fiq Halim, Black, Xposeband singer, Khai Bahar..God just gave us 6 of them !! I love the highnotes.. not easy to sing live and laymen just cant do that hahahaha.. well, now i hope in some 10 years time, will there are some young generation who could do like those 6 singers?
