after collecting and leveling all the heroes in your great guide I realized that my gear not good enough to do it, my Maul cant one shot kill them like you did.
Sorry to hear that mate. Have a look at how close you are. mauls artifact was only at level 13, so you might be able to make some improvements there. After that, just with gear that has ATK% main stat and Crit Rate sub stat and roll well, purple rolls.

It's crazy and infuriating that there's exactly 1 strat with exactly 1 very specific frame-accurate timing that you have to do to beat this boss. I have been trying to do this for months and can't pass it.
I have a couple of videos on a double DPS, with Maul + Razzak and again with Maul + Dahlia. It makes the gearing a little easier, although the timing is critical to get enough coins back. 😀
Why when you dismiss your idril, you get 40 sec before putting her again, i have 60 sec ...
You need to have Volka in your team with her A1 done, this is not as hard as it sounds, you get this from the storyline quests, and Tide. You might well have that already. 😀
my problem is that maw doesnt kill everyone and definitely doesn't have those AOE damage numbers
You can use any other AoE Hero, most will do more damage than Maul, such as Khamet, Vierna, Venoma.
Also the gear requirement is quite the jump from stage 18 -19; however if you can't gear up 1 hero you can try using 2 DPS heroes if you have Volka and her A1 done. 🙂
Same, I've tried Silas, Khamet, Vierna, my Venoma is ridiculously weak. I guess you need OP gear from the other 2 raids? Who knows. It sucks. Difficulty too steep.
You might want to try a couple of those heroes together mate, the gear requirement is less, let me know who you get on. 🤞🙂
I'm going to have a go at this. Seems pretty straightforward. Does this work on 20 and 21?
I have not done it; however I cannot think of a reason why it would not work.
You would need more DPS, and maybe a stronger healer / better kitted out Vortex, but other than that you should be good to go.
I was on a different account today and used the same system, and it worked to clear stage 20.
I used a well built Nocture instead of Idril and Maul.
Stage 21 Vortex was not tanky enough.

I missed krodor by 1 blue heroe.... gutted. Been stuck on this forever. Swapped out krodor for toreador but not happening for me lol gotta get good :/
Sorry to hear about the Krodor mate that really sucks.
Which part of Gr2 are you stuck with? Remember Toreador costs 25 to place, although brilliant re is expensive.
Thanks for your guide. I tried to follow but not quite sure why my redeployment time after dismissing a hero is like 5x seconds instead of 4x seconds like you. Anything I missed??

Hey, I recently dropped a negative comment here about you using volka a1 is a bad thing for new players because I thought volka a1 is something we get through endgame via summoning crystals. I'm a 20-day player and I didn't know we can get volka a1 from tide 105. I'm rly sorry for my previous comment, tho I deleted it.
But it's also the game's fault for not even telling players about the future tide rewards. How the hell could I know...
