You can tell Caleb feels rushed on his inaccurate passes, even when he has time to throw, he seems fazed by his pocket time. The offensive line has given him PTSD after just two games.
Meanwhile the Chargers are 2-0 with Jim Harbough. The Bears had a chance to bring in a real winner, yet Poles stood with Eberfluss. Shane Waldron won’t be here for long.
With so many early picks I hope Poles take 3 O linemen with our first 4 picks in the draft. Really impressed by Defense. If they can even get this line mediocre this team can win 9 or 10...
The offensive line was the reason why we should've traded the #1 pick just like Swift said. We could've had picks to flood the o-line but we'll never know now.

A lot of Bears fans predicted us to lose this game. But the O Line was embarrassing. Poor blocking and tons of penalties. It’s a plus that we still had a chance to win. They had no answer to the QB pressure. Questionable play calling again. We are tired of screens. Especially TE screens. I’d like to see more usage of our RBs. Swift isn’t a bell cow RB. More Herbert and Johnson. Less Homer. The defense is good and will only get better.
I knew it was going to be a loss when it was Sunday Night and Orange Uniforms. Never seems to go well with that combo. The Bears always find a way to half-a$$ everything. Go out, get that premier QB, fill the roster with great weapons, but leave in a sub-par HC, and not fix the O-line? Typical, they are the new Cleveland Browns.
The Bears are who we thought they were... Is what the Texans are celebrating. Overall Caleb improved from week 1, but he did not improve enough. The picks were typical for a rookie and need to disappear quickly
I’m sorry guys but I would have put Bagent in the game when the offense couldn’t get anything going especially after he threw two interceptions. You can tell Dj Moore was pissed off with all those missed passes and even said something to Bagent on the sideline. Prolly told him that he should be out there or that he could have made that pass. We got beat by the FG kicker with 12 points. Our defense is elite and they kept us in the game the whole time.
Hard to fix that O-line at this point, we have to coach up what we have. Maybe it is time to bench some guys and give a backup or practice squad guy a chance
You're NOT the ONLY guy! It would not have been pretty but you're right! Caleb doesn't want people to think he's NOT looking to pass IF he takes off running sometimes! Soldier Fields didn't give a damn and ran for his life... and the first down!
Congratulations, he's playing a team led by a washed up Kirk Cousins and Darnell Mooney. Also played the Broncos who are currently 0-2. I wouldn't brag about a winning team helping Fields win, how many wins did Fields have again when it was on him? 11 in 3 seasons?

Wright & Jenkins have taken steps back this season, we're finding out Davis doesn't care, Braxton was never gonna be a top 10 LT but is serviceable & the C play just has been awful when we expected him to be closer to average. Maybe it's the OL coaching because this entire OL has underperformed through 2 weeks now

OC Walrus, ahem, better get off his hindquarters and be creative as that's what makes you a better coach than other teams. Growing pains hurt.
I had to just take the night to gather my thoughts, but I still came back to the same things. The one common denominator that Mitch, Justin, and Caleb have in common. We ask them to play behind an absolute trash o-line. Caleb hasn't been able to find any kind of rhythm.
Williams had the same issues in game 2 as he had in game 1: Inaccurate Throws Throwing Into Coverage Not Seeing Open Receivers On top of that, he added on holding on to the ball too long this game. Not looking good so far for this "generational talent".
We shoulda traded the first pick and invested in a line. Fields woulda looked good with all these weapons. But no everyone was like “hey it’s his time to go.” With caleb being a rookie and having a lot of time to develop it’s gonna be too late with everyone talent being wasted. Shane don’t even get me started… seeing some familiar shit with Getsy.
For a former OLineman who was part of the Chiefs franchise that did very well to protect Mahomes, Poles has absolutely failed to address the Bears OLine. Outside of drafting Wright at #10 and inheriting Jenkins who was a lone bright spot for the past two years, he has been largely revamping this OLine by dumpster diving for other teams’ trash and leftovers from drafts. When you use garbage pieces you get garbage results. Doesn’t matter how talented the QB is and how many weapons there are on the roster, when the OLine crumbles like sand castle at every snap of the football, the offense ain’t gonna do squat, and I can’t believe Poles doesn’t understand this given his OLineman background.
I said the exact same thing it looks like the same bears oh offense from last year. Nothing changed. We have a different office of coordinator but we do the same place from last year get a new playbook. This is ridiculous same screen place to the side. Do a screenplay at least forward lol.
Chicago is just being Chicago, lock down defense. Zero offense. This has been our look off and on for as long as I can remember. I miss cutler. That was the only real time we had a legit offense. So very sad to get embarrassed on national TV. Smh
Poles went into the season thinking the O line was set. Bad decision on his part. It is what it is right now, this is a bad time to shop for O linemen.
I felt bad for swift he took a hit I was like there is no way he can get started without someone block for him. Offensive just looks bad this ain’t gonna cut it.
As a Bears fan maybe my expectations for Williams was to high this year even with a bad offensive line. Now I'm wondering did we draft the wrong Heisman winner?
Caleb's been floating passes way outta play consistently this looked like a high school offense playing a d1 team..... All excuses aside he's not doing himself any favors .
I want to be mad at Waldron, but my goodness, when your OLine disintegrated like cotton candy dipped in water as soon as the ball was snapped, and your young QB was shook because of it, what can you call at that point? I almost have to give him an incomplete grade because the OLine was not able to buy enough time for plays to develop and every play became a chaotic scrambling drill less than 2 seconds after the ball was snapped.
I think the accuracy piece is somewhat overblown. This offense through two weeks have not had easy throws. We're asking Caleb to hit homeruns but he has no rhythm. The offense is being run out of shotgun which tell the defense that they don't have to worry about running the football. So, Houston bullrushed all night and push the line back into Caleb. He was a statue back there. The problem with the offense line is no running game. They must start to put Caleb against better teams under center. Also, he is Justin Fields so guess what your ability to rush isn't as good as before. He has to throw more than 5 yard contested passes. Run now, it's the OC's fault.
Caleb looked just like every QB that has came here to play. Poles needs to go back to his office and make some phone calls. He needs to bring in another solid Guard, Center, and Tackle. He has done a phenomenal job with the defense. The defense can’t keep bailing the offense out. POLES…..WAKE UP!!!!!

Shane waldron needs to do better also. There are ways you can protect the QB. Max protect, bring in a TE to help block, roll the QB out. This guy supposed to be a good offensive coordinator but i didn't see anything from him. All he is another Luke getsy.
The Bears offensive line is a joke, Braxton Jones included. The sad thing is Poles did address the OLine but signing/acquiring/drafting BJones, Davis, Shelton, Bates, but his choices here are pathetic. None of these guys are good enough. I know, Bates is on IR, but he's not starting material anyway. Waldron looks like Getsy. This is the same nonsense. The same incompetent looking offense. The offensive line can't pick up a basic stunt. There are times where they aren't blocking anyone, especially Jenkins and Davis. I'm looking for 4 new offensive lineman this offseason. Also, the Swift signing was a complete waste. Another poor decision by Poles.
Fields, Moore, MHJ, and picks to fix oline what could have been. No excuses for the generational talent qb Williams. Poles is another typical Chicago GM how that in Poles we trust😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Honestly with the PICKS I would say the bears should get a center , RG , LG get rid of Chris Morgan I think that the online coach
Nate Davis needs to be gone!! We need to try Pryor in there somewhere next game and possibly get a vet swing guard that can play from somewhere
Fields, Moore, MHJ, and picks to fix oline what could have been. No excuses for the generational talent qb Williams. Poles is another typical Chicago GM how that in Poles we trust😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nate Davis is the new Charles Leno jr, he’s a bum!!!! The offensive line has been trash since 2010 idk how people keep ignoring that
He’s laughing because Poles gave him a $30mil contract so he doesn’t care because he’s got his $$
Boy they really had us believing the culture and BS has changed
