One year further and still the same :)
Finally! Someone that fixes laptops other than Apple. Thank you. Enjoy watching your expertise. Thanks
Amazing relaxed Alex, no sales pitches, good explinations, no customer bagging, so humble and relaxed. Miss these videos. Thank you Alex!
Smile on your face and shine in the eyes after each one of the fixes is priceless.
I’ve been watching repair videos all through lockdown and it’s a job that clearly has that feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment for every successful repair. It makes me want to study electronics and change jobs 😂
That was amazing! Thank you for taking the time and effort to fully explain this to us. These are the best kind of videos. Thank you.
Just love the methodolog approach step by step to identify faulty components
Bro, i love your videos. The way you scan for the faulty components is amazing & i can see the joy in your face. God bless you..

@Northridgefix OH my god you gave me a mini heart attack when you did not remove that piece of metal plate underneath the borard and plugged it in and turned it on. I am glad i didnt mess up the video and repair.

Great as always it's better than factory and service center.
Helped me a lot. Same issue with no power. I didn't have a thermal camera but I could feel the heat from a tiny part of the board. Tested a few pins and shorts all over. That kind of repair is out of my league. Time to take it into the shop. 😅

Did your finger feel hot when you touch that mosfit?
The great. Well done. Smile
Good job sir
Excellent! 👍
Great video!! I am learning soldering and i have a question for you, why did you use soldering tin after removing the MOSFET? How can it help?
if I'm not mistaken, the previous alloy was lead free so he mixed it with leaded solder to lower the solder temperature of the new alloy, in order to do the job with less heat.
I agree with Carlos, It's to mix in leaded solder to the unleaded solder that's used on the board during manufacturing. Its makes it easier to clean and prep the board and reduces the melting temperature required to re flow the replacement components.
Yep I enjoyed the video. You went deep. thx
Good work 👏 thanx brother for this video 🌹
Amazing. Great. A1.
It's wasn't an easy one good job thank you
How to identify the sort component if you don't use tharmal camera???
Hard work
تحيييييا لك الشريف owsome
Awesome
HI, have You had a situation with XPS 9550 that connecting touchscreen cable to motherboard caused the laptop to turn dead. Power button flashes during power on, but the laptop remains dead. Affter disconnecting the touchscreen cable from MB, everything comes back to normabl, just without thouchscreen. Have You got any idea, whether its MB-defect, or touchscreen film on the display? Thanks, Janusz
Excellent 👍
The original chip was marked C96CJ. I could not find C96y or C96CJ chip; nor could I find data sheet on either. How did you know the C96y would work?
good job you did there...but what i wonder is how did you manage to buy that flir thermal camera?!!! Man , that is crazy expensive at 3300 usd. :(
awesome
Haha @6:20 after 2 weeks , your hair grew up😂😂😂
How can I reach you about my laptop am having same issue am in Nigeria but don’t no who to take it to that will not spoil the bord or system please recommend for me please
great job sir
REAL SUPER HERO❤️💯
Any ideas how to detect origins of shorted/blown SMD components? They are legion and markings on them often does not have nothing common with their real model names in datasheets. Particularly now I'm trying to find 3.3V voltage regulator L0H (or LOH) in SOT23-6 package (burned by friend due to mismatched PSUs in rush).
Not easy to keep track of videos over weeks/months! When you have donor board, BAM, fixed in one video.
Parabéns você e um fera

3:16 looks like 1 of the leg not soldered properly (botom left side)/ not connected.
