Mike did a great job of keeping the discussion calm even when the reporter attempted to create drama and controversy. The part of what qualifies someone to run for president. Natural born citizen and 35 years of age was to the point.
Yeah, and he is extremely careful about what he doesn't say. The real problem is in America, and most of the West, is that we rely on capitalism to survive, and you are not human if you don't have some economic socialism to help the not so fortunate in the capitalist system. But in the last 50 years we have seen too many non-economic factors being used to interfere with capitalism and these have continued to build up like barnacles on a ship, to slow progress. The longer we leave dealing with it, the worse it is going to be when we have to stop and fix it.

I'm a supporter of RFK Jr. In quick, random order, here's some of my reasons for supporting RFK Jr... -genuinely wants to heal the 'culture war' divide in our country, and he has the ability to, being liked by many different 'types' of people from across the spectrum of issues and ideas, who are tired of the 2-party duopoly -calm, humble, has integrity, has courage, truth seeker in general, thinks for himself (not a DNC/RNC puppet) -not phony -incorruptible, cannot be bought -thoughtful and introspective -deeply considers problems and possible solutions -vocal about the corruption of 'Citizens United' and the power of the big private money controlling government -vocal about putting an end to corporate capture over government (pharma, banks, oil, military industrial complex) -wants to get us out of 'forever wars' and to pull back on and expose the corruption within the military industrial complex -wants to pull back NATO and resolve the Ukraine problem via negotiations -vocal about the dishonesty and agendas of commercial media -wants to abolish all pharmaceutical advertisements on television (this has major influence on the 'news' narratives) -wants to keep the pharmaceutical industry honest with safety testing, transparency, etc -wants to get rid of government assist crony capitalism and subsidies for big ag, oil, etc -advocate for civil liberties -vocally against censorship (will free Snowden and Assange on 'day 1') -against mandates and police state-like policies -classical liberal sensibilities with respect of others (without the 'woke' or fake identity politics) -vocal commitment to transparency regarding FBI, CIA, NSA over-stepping and out-stepping -passionate about environmental and ecological concerns -passionate about cleaning our food supply and exposing the unhealthy ingredients in processed 'foods' -wants to bring preventative health more into public discourse; nutrition, exercise, etc -will immediately close the border (this is not some republican scare issue, it is a very major issue - for many reasons) -has an excellent plan to make homes affordable for all, including a program that backs mortgages at 3% and a tax structure to keep Black Rock from continuing to buy everyone out (this also will bring rent cost down dramatically) -due to his family/background, he's well-learned from the inside of the various power structures -due to his decades as an attorney successfully taking on major corporations, as well as government regulatory corruption, he is exceptionally well-suited for taking on the myriad of corporate capture over our government *I wrote the list above many months before Oct 7, 2023. I should add, especially directed towards my brothers and sisters of the populist 'left' and populist 'right', 'progressives', 'libertarians', and people who are just antiwar, in general... -RFK Jr. is in support of Israel (as am I). However, this in *no* way means he isn't also in support of helping the innocent people within Gaza. RFK Jr. has always been very aware of the conditions for the people within Gaza, and is especially aware of, and feels deep heartache for, the Hell they are living in now. As President, he is a person who would do all he could to help seek lasting peace and prosperity for all in the region -although RFK Jr. is a supporter of Israel, he is not a fan of Netanyahu, and has said repeatedly that he would *not* be writing him a blank check with American dollars to do with as he wishes -there is no one who would fight harder or more tirelessly to reach out to everyone involved, as well as to leaders outside of the region, to try to negotiate and implement a sustainable peaceful solution for both the Israelis and the Palestinians. RFK Jr. would bring many ideas and a commitment to approaching the problem there from several different angles, and involving several other players. In fact, he would have been doing this before Oct. 7. (Simply yelling 'apartheid', 'genocide', etc is *not* in service of an actual *solution* - ask Hamas) -and unlike anyone from the 2 major parties who supports Israel, RFK Jr. would never be lead by the corrupt (and disgusting) sheer financial interests of the Military Industrial Complex when it comes to *any* of America's foreign policy; including with Israel
Mike Rowe used Slick Willie's line about qualifications for the Presidency. When asked about Obama's qualifications, Bill Clinton said, "Well, if he's over 35 and is an American citizen..." It was the Clintons, not Trump, who first raised the question about Obama's citizenship.
Thats a fact that Main Stream media wishes you would forget. Once Obama was chosen by the "elite," neither Bill or HIllary ever brought up the citizenship question again. Wonder why?
If you ever get to Kenya by Lake Victoria, at the Falls Road Clinic in the city of Kisumu, Obama’s aunt and hospital staff members will be happy to show you the room where the 44th President of the United States was born. That area of Kenya is the homeland of Obama’s paternal side Luo tribe. They proudly back up the aunt on Obama’s entry into the world.
@@jameshepburn4631, Umm, sounds like someone wants to make a buck off of claiming Obama was born in Kenya. But, for the sake of argument, even if Obama was born abroad, his mother, born in Kansas, is a US citizen, which makes Obama a citizen, no different than Senator Ted Cruz, born in Canada, who also was a Republican Presidential candidate.

When stories go around about what Aaron Rodgers believes, an actual journalist would (a) ask Rodgers to be on their show so they can ask him directly, and (b) whatever his answer, instead of clutching the pearls and intoning "HOW DARE YOU!", how about you ask how he came by that, what led him to that particular viewpoint. Reporters used to be inquisitive and ask questions, now they're just advocates (and not particularly bright ones, as this clip showed only too well...). All the schools of journalism in the various colleges should have their doors shuttered these days because that particular vocation doesn't really exist anymore...

There are constitutional reasons for a person being qualified or disqualified to hold federal office. Those include their actions, not their opinions. We had many presidents in the past whose personal opinions did not go inside with their legal obligations but they didn't let their personal opinions interfere with the obligation or performance of the duties of their office. That's unlike MANY Congressmen who will act according to the needs of their most vocal colleagues rather than representing the will of their constituents.

Dude we can see exactly what she’s doing. We’re not stupid.
LoL a tremendous amount of 😢people are tho
You'd be surprised! But, I appreciate the feedback
cnn: "Can't we find something to disagree about?" Mike Rowe: "No, thank you."
How about just Mike Rowe for President? 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
He's too smart for that!
Watching Burnett listen to a response it is evident she is listening to the producers telling her what gotcha question to ask next.
That's a great point! These "activists" have the advantage of having someone in their ear thinking of the next question or gotcha moment.
Good job Mike!!
I like RFK Jr too but I disagree with his position on climate change, when he said that he doesn't care if gasoline cost gets to $12 a gallon leaves a bitter taste in my mouth
🇺🇲 Trump 24🇺🇲
Yep. He’s totally wrong on gas vehicles and climate issues.
He also would appoint leftist to the Supreme Court.
dont forget his stance on "climate deniers"
I lost all respect for Erin Burnett when she signed on with CNN.
You can tell she had ZERO interest in what he was actually saying...
Yes , exactly .
par for the course. they don't listen to anyone who isn't spouting their Bullshit.
Trump 2024..
I'm a supporter of RFK Jr. In quick, random order, here's some of my reasons for supporting RFK Jr...
-genuinely wants to heal the 'culture war' divide in our country, and he has the ability to, being liked by many different 'types' of people from across the spectrum of issues and ideas, who are tired of the 2-party duopoly
-calm, humble, has integrity, has courage, truth seeker in general, thinks for himself (not a DNC/RNC puppet)
-not phony
-incorruptible, cannot be bought
-thoughtful and introspective
-deeply considers problems and possible solutions
-vocal about the corruption of 'Citizens United' and the power of the big private money controlling government
-vocal about putting an end to corporate capture over government (pharma, banks, oil, military industrial complex)
-wants to get us out of 'forever wars' and to pull back on and expose the corruption within the military industrial complex
-wants to pull back NATO and resolve the Ukraine problem via negotiations
-vocal about the dishonesty and agendas of commercial media
-wants to abolish all pharmaceutical advertisements on television (this has major influence on the 'news' narratives)
-wants to keep the pharmaceutical industry honest with safety testing, transparency, etc
-wants to get rid of government assist crony capitalism and subsidies for big ag, oil, etc
-advocate for civil liberties
-vocally against censorship (will free Snowden and Assange on 'day 1')
-against mandates and police state-like policies
-classical liberal sensibilities with respect of others (without the 'woke' or fake identity politics)
-vocal commitment to transparency regarding FBI, CIA, NSA over-stepping and out-stepping
-passionate about environmental and ecological concerns
-passionate about cleaning our food supply and exposing the unhealthy ingredients in processed 'foods'
-wants to bring preventative health more into public discourse; nutrition, exercise, etc
-will immediately close the border (this is not some republican scare issue, it is a very major issue - for many reasons)
-has an excellent plan to make homes affordable for all, including a program that backs mortgages at 3% and a tax structure to keep Black Rock from continuing to buy everyone out (this also will bring rent cost down dramatically)
-due to his family/background, he's well-learned from the inside of the various power structures
-due to his decades as an attorney successfully taking on major corporations, as well as government regulatory corruption, he is exceptionally well-suited for taking on the myriad of corporate capture over our government
*I wrote the list above many months before Oct 7, 2023.
As President, he is a person who would do all he could to help seek lasting peace and prosperity for all in the region
-although RFK Jr. is a supporter of Israel, he is not a fan of Netanyahu, and has said repeatedly that he would *not* be writing him a blank check with American dollars to do with as he wishes
-there is no one who would fight harder or more tirelessly to reach out to everyone involved, as well as to leaders outside of the region, to try to negotiate and implement a sustainable peaceful solution for both the Israelis and the Palestinians. RFK Jr. would bring many ideas and a commitment to approaching the problem there from several different angles, and involving several other players. In fact, he would have been doing this before Oct. 7. (Simply yelling 'apartheid', 'genocide', etc is *not* in service of an actual *solution* - ask Hamas)
-and unlike anyone from the 2 major parties who supports Israel, RFK Jr. would never be lead by the corrupt (and disgusting) sheer financial interests of the Military Industrial Complex when it comes to *any* of America's foreign policy; including with Israel
Mike Rowe used Slick Willie's line about qualifications for the Presidency. When asked about Obama's qualifications, Bill Clinton said, "Well, if he's over 35 and is an American citizen..." It was the Clintons, not Trump, who first raised the question about Obama's citizenship.
Yep, just as it was Mario Cuomo that first raised Clinton’s various scandals, not Bush, as the media have long claimed.
No, mentioning the minimum qualifications for being president is not the same as doubting where someone was born. But Obama is a citizen, regardless.
She went right to nit picking for anything negative she could. Didn't work 😅
CNN what a joke!!! She should try out for the View when CNN is no more...
Don’t get tricked into wasting your vote.
Agree, so don't waste it on criminals or people who have had over 50 yrs to make a difference nationally. Instead...
How about we really dig into all the possible candidates, understand what they stand for and then vote our conscience(?)
No but Mike rowe is a very smart guy in many ways. That is it. I dont care for rfk on most things and wouldn't vote for him
If cnn really wanted to know his stance on things they could probably get him on for an interview.
or just ask him lol
TRYING TO CAUSE TROUBLE......WHAT A SURPRIZE. FOR cnn
Mike Rowe has played them all like fiddle in the past and will continue in the future.
MIKE ROWE is 100% common sense!
These so called "reporters" are not smart enough to do what they continue to attempt. They are pathetic.
Erin is a journalist hack. I like Mike Rowe smart man.
She has a strange look as if she is waiting for him to say something that she can jump on.
If Mike Rowe ends up on a ticket as an independent then I'll vote I for the first time in my life. I'd prefer to see him on a GOP ticket.
NOT voting everytime is a cop out.
why? Hes far left. He just seems more sane than the commies that occupy the DNC currently.
I see Mike Rowe, I click. Not just for what he represents but how he can spot the hack questions a mile away and answers them graciously.
You always bring a lot of insight to me and this is no exception.
Thank you!
most important fact Arron Rogers never said it!!!!
He was smooth in the interview she would ask a specific question and he would go into this rant about nothing. This guy won’t be interviewed any time soon from CNN. FJB
Honestly Mike Rowe would bring common sense and integrity to the VP role. I think he would quash political BS that we see in todays politics with good old fashioned common sense, and I think he has the testicular fortitude to back it up.
What about President?
@@stephenbrecht1696 We could call him "The Pipe fitter," sorta like Lincoln was "The Rail Splitter."
He'd help any office holder as "The clean-up guy" to clear the BS from in front of people.
Got my Bachelor of Science at a liberal arts college.
They didn’t like this retired Marine conservative much. I pushed them on their bogus concepts and proved my stances with evidence.
I managed to graduate with Latin honors despite a few nut job “professors” and a bunch of liberals who in all fairness did grade properly rather than on whether the content fit the agenda.
That probably upset the 12 people that actually watch CNN.
Wow, they're back up to 12?
"Mike Rowe is too good to run for office". Spot on, Townhall . . .
It’s about her agenda!
She is a poor example of a journalist
Whenever she asks a new question, she does have that gothcha look. But as he answers, the muscles above her top lip tighten and her nostrils flair like she's trying to control her sneer. The sneer is like a pissed off dog warning that he's about to bite you.
😂😅😂
Right and why is her posture diagonal instead of vertical?
She thinks way too highly of herself.
I think you're seeing what you want to see.
no, I see it too. What do you see? Nvm idc@@smw4628
@smw4628 they see the truth, which your embittered rebellious soul hates.
Mike is GREAT!
Truth and honesty!
More qualified than the current admin.

Outstanding!!!! Thank you.
Love Mike Rowe ! This woman is not a journalist she is a gossip girl !
Perfect, Thank you!
Mike Rowe is such an extraordinary person.
He didn't follow her narrative.. . .
Ouch!
Well Said Brother. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Love me some Mike Rowe, a dashing & funny man
Its called Vocational Education. It used to be called Mechanics, Woodworking, Automotive, Home Economics, Welding, Computer, Construction...Every HS had these classes & classrooms designed & equiped to teach them. Funding for Vocational Education has been severely cut back. HS had been working on Apprenticeships for HS students gaining HS credit working with businesses in the Community. What about College Vo Tech 2 yr programs?
Mike is the man!!!
Great commentary on truth🇺🇸🗽🙏
Thanks, Rocket!
It wasnt up to a tv network in 1988. He was embarrassed by being caught in a lie. He knew the people wiuld not bevdumb enough to vite for him then.
Left speechless
Owned
Destroyed
Is this the best people can come up with really, and just keep using it over and over over?
Where does CNN get all these traitors
Good point. Let the people decide!!
They are out of their league with Mike. He’s schooling them like a kung fu master training Jackie Chan.
Great points my friend!
Thank you!
Mike is truly one of the GOOD GUYS
I'm surprised Mike didn't get interrupted when she didn't get the response they wanted.
Mike Rowe seems to be a good, smart guy.
😮😮most of my college accounting classmates in 1977 were never taught to use a 10 key adding machine. A necessary tool at that time. Learn the job, not just theory.
Amen!
Thanks!
Trying to pit Mike against RFKJr. rather than discussing the substance of the issues. Great to see you point that out.
Have to be a resident of the USA for 14 years
the first mistake is calling CNN a new organization
Wow Larry - You just popped into my feed. I was a diehard radio fan of yours when I lived (for decades) in DC! Good to see you!
Erin Burnett used to be so good on CNBC. She sold her soul to CNN.
You don't need to explain CNN to us we totally know what they're all about. Mike doesn't find to the BS like the rest of the people.
CNN is bs..their ratings ard so low..they should ho.bankrupt or get bought by musk
without TRUMP cnn msnbc would be gone
oh they are history
Love Mike Rowe
GREAT RESPECT and ADMIRATION for Mr. Rowe not taking the bait(s) thrown at him. CNN has quite the history of "gott'ya" interview
Good stuff. Thanks man. 👍
YVW, Scott!
