2023 Exeed Yaoguang 400T in-depth Walkaround
The name "Yaoguang" is inspired by the first star in the Big Dipper constellation, known as Alkaid (Eta Ursae Majoris) in ancient Chinese astrology. Despite being a fuel vehicle, the Yaoguang boasts an avant-garde design. The distinctive LED headlights form a cross-shaped pattern on the front face, while the daytime running lights on both sides create a recognizable "∑" symbol reminiscent of the Greek letter. The car's unique frameless diamond-cut grille adds to its modern aesthetic.
The new car's dimensions measure 4781mm in length, 1920mm in width, and 1671mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2815mm. It offers a choice of 215/55 R18, 235/55 R19, or 245/50 R20 tires. Under the hood, the car is equipped with a 2.0TGDI engine that delivers a maximum power output of 261 horsepower (192kW) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, CDC electromagnetic suspension, an all-terrain four-wheel drive system, and seven driving modes. Additionally, the company plans to launch PHEV models in the future.
The price range of the Exeed Yaoguang starts from 167,800 and tops out at 179,800 RMB (24,800 - US$26,600).
