This was such a great and easy project. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I need to build some shutters on my front windows and this was so informative. I'm here supporting you back hun. Thanks so much for supporting my small channels, I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment on my videos. Thanks so much. New subscriber. Tfs
Excellent video! Did you glue the slats together? Did you protect the entire shutter with a weather-proof product, like urethane or varnish? Thanks for posting.
Ooh, love the modern look of those shutters!
Thanks Jen. They make a huge difference on the house!
Great video. I can't wait to build some for myself.

Love this Brittany! We need to build new shutters for our house soon too.
Thanks. They were so much easier to build than I anticipated.
Great tutorial, as always!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much Sharon!
I've got that Milwaukee sander! What an amazing transformation.
THANKS! It's actually a cordless Craftsman sanders. I'm finding myself grabbing for it more often. No tether for the win!
Great Tutorial! Makes it seem like something I could do!
You can do it!
Great project!
Thanks Timothy!!

They look great!!! So much better than the green ickiness. 😂🤣
Agreed! Thanks Erika.
The only question I have is how you attached them to the house without drilling a screw straight through the front of the shutters?
I drilled screws through the black portion of the shutters, then touched up the head with the same black paint.
