I was marked as an Altruist and this was highly accurate with the exception of avoiding competition. While I find a lot of competitiveness to be detrimental to the greater good, I can do well enough in that kind of environment and even believe some competition can be healthy....maybe it's the gamer in me lol.
Hi, Great reflection. For some altruists, their focus on competition can turn up in different ways. In some instances it can be very team focused. In others, they can be comfortable as long as it doesn't create conflict. I'd say 'friendly competition' would be the way to motivate you. It also depends on your individual results as you may have your dominance drive (A) more on the midpoint which means you would be more situational about it. Thanks for commenting.
