Currently ReMoCapp only supports live video. Offline processing from video is in our future phases plan. Also, we have fixed the foot sliding and soon it will be released.
@@remocapp Has this been released?? Very interested in this and will definitely be getting the pro version but the feet are definitely a little "floaty" as is
Hello, No special setting is required. We animate a default UE4/UE5 skeleton (Manny) and you can retarget it to any skeleton you have. The same process for Blender.

Hi, I would like to ask if the real-time dynamic capture function you provide can still be used after Unreal packaging? I want to do a demo similar to real-time dynamic capture interaction. Or is this function only available in editor mode.
Hi, Some of the plugin functions are available in Editor only, like the animation recording, but the real-time mocap and retargeting features could be available on packaging. Feel free to join to the Discord server to ask more questions. (Find the join link on channel profile)
Thank you for your reply. May I also ask if there is any way I can make the demo I have created more convenient to use, instead of having to go to ReMoCapp to set up the camera and click 'run' every time I start it. As my users may be ordinary users or not good at computers. Is there any way to do this?@@remocapp
That is an Enterprise requirement. If you mind to have a B2B partnership feel free to write us your requirements in an Email, Then we can discuss more in a meeting.
Seems to be a small problem with the feet floating up off the ground on the character and not keeping fixed to the ground, kind of like the character is walking on pillows. Hope this gets fixed. Hands and fingers look good. Likes: Pretty good movement, hands and fingers a plus. Pet hates: Needs to constantly be connected to internet server. So if your internet goes down its useless. Foot planting needs work. Great start though.
Thank you @jonos138 for your review. We value comments like this. Good news is that we've significantly improved the feet issue, and a new version is on the way. As for internet connection, the app functions offline, only requiring internet access for license checks. It operates smoothly even with the lowest internet speed, widely available nowadays. If you prefer an entirely offline solution, let's discuss an enterprise option. Feel free to reach out!
Guys! VGA is Video Graphics Array, and is a analog interface standard for connection to screen with or without audio from your GPU or motherboard... So writing that you don't need a powerful VGA sounds weird IMO?! Why would you guys use the term VGA instead of GPU if you guys are pro devs on this stuff????

left alone the sliding great job
Does using pre-record video give you a better result?

does using more camera capture affect to better accuracy?
Yes. More cameras result in a more accurate animation. Remocapp supports up to 8 cameras.
Excellent
Is there a lifetime 1 time purchase plan?
I'm afraid not.

Hello! What are the requirements for the character? Skeleton, setting bone weights, etc... Thanks!
Hello,
No special setting is required. We animate a default UE4/UE5 skeleton (Manny) and you can retarget it to any skeleton you have.
The same process for Blender.
Does this work only with webcam? Or can we use phone camera?
You cam use third party tools to bring your phone camera to your PC as a webcam. then you're able to use them in the ReMoCapp as well
May I ask how many key points the software can calculate for the human body
More than 50 keypoints for body and fingers
Any plans to make it work with iclone 8 or blender?
The Blender plugin is ready and will be published soon. iClone's plugin might be implemented in the future.
Thank you. what about the face capture ??
It's under development. Soon will be available.
Wow, Amazing🤩

Is this program capable of capturing the movement of two actors at the same time? Such as two athletes fighting each other?
Not yet. It's in our roadmap for the future.
Can I use this with metahuman?
Absolutely, Please send a message in our Discord community, we have a ready-to-use sample project for it. Will send you a copy.

'looks very impressive for a v1 release - although foot planting looks like it could do with some work.
Thank you. Sure.
