So, I was there in July for one week. London to Kusadasi. My verdict, I want to go again because my wife and I loved it. People are friendly and kind. So much to see. There are so many ancient sites, food is great. Modernity next to ancient history. I'm glad I went.

I m french I have been in Turkey twice 2015-2017, felt in love with the country and the people, I'm planning to go back to Antalya next week, looking to book a well deserved resting week :) I have been in istanbul, izmir and bodrum, the country is very safe, good infrastructure, people nice and live freely, not at all as what the french media are saying all the time, they just hate Turkey and Erdogan and saying shit.

i last went to Antalya in 2004, i loved it, i stayed in a very cheap hotel on eski(old) lara road, it had a tiny pool out the front the room was tiny and it did not matter coz there is so much to do in Antalya that i barely spent 6 or 7 hours in the room! there was an outdoor restaurant across the road on top of a beach cliff, thats where i had my Turkish breakfast every morning for less than $10 australian which at that time was like 10 million TL before they dropped the zero's and made it YTL! if luxury hotels are a must for you there are many to choose from, i just like to have a place to sleep and store my stuff other than that i love to get out amongst the locals and see the town and beach and shopping, P.S dont buy gold in istanbul, buy it in Antalya youll get a much better price because most people think its cheaper in Istanbul so the prices are higher because they know theyve got you
