I agree! My apartment has crummy carpeting, would love floors like this. I have pets & have heard good things about Ruggable so planning to get one for my living room.

i honestly like the floors! they look a little dated but i think when the whole apartment is decorated it will come together nicely!

As someone who moved into a Jersey apt with the same parquet floors (I have an empty apartment tour as well!) I can say it gets SO MUCH better as you get your furniture and rugs in. It's just seeing that pattern repeated so much over a large space but once it's broken up by rugs etc it becomes much less offensive to the eye 😂 congrats on the new place!! It actually reminds me so much of my own so I'm really excited to see you decorate!

I love your new apartment, it has more character and I actually love the floors! I can't wait to see how you decorate! All those closets are a dream. The one in your room would look cute with bags and shoes and longer, more formal dresses. Make it like a showcase and change it up seasonally ❤

darling, in your young age you don't need any skin care products, this is all about advertising - save your money. over the years i have become a minimalist. we all have too much and don't really need it. it kills you in the long run. these things control you. it starts with the clothes and cosmetics....
parquet flooring is a classic charm, you should appreciate it 💞 thanks for the good jersey city content, its so rare to come by in the shadow of nyc but I just want to see things and happenings in jc!

no washer/dryer in unit unfortunately, but there’s laundry on every floor so it’s not too bad!

Your lucky to get new appliances that come with the place, mine came with appliances but they were old school which I dont mind atleast I had that but not having the living room light drived me mad😂 grew up in apartments and alot didn't have lights in the main room like who does that? Lol but you get used to it. Nice to have your own place to call home 🏡

Floors are nice but it doesn’t give you that vibe I feel you. You can get peel and stick tiles from Home Depot or Amazon !

You should consider putting your bed against your window. It's better for space and flow in terms of feng shui if you put it in the middle it'll just take up your whole bedroom blocking the flow.
I was thinking the same thing but noticed an air conditioning unit below the window.
actually from where her door is the bed is in the perfect position according to feng shui. it’s off to the side so the energy from the door or window isn’t coming straight at it

I think the floor is gorgeous! We have the same floor in our house and when we moved in the people we bought the house from actually told us that those kind of floors are super unique, hard to make and very expensive !
