I always look forward to your tutorials! Best in the community! Just learned so much from your tutorials and because of that I've built some custom cabs that I've never would have dreamed of doing 4yrs ago.
Thank you for everything you do for the community and as always, stay clean, stay safe and game on my brotha!

Love your products. I’ve ordered quite a few. Than you so much for always shipping so fast. The mail service in Arkansas is severely slow, but your stuff always seems to come super fast.

I was under the impression that the stock pcb board output 5v to the marquee? I ordered a led light kit for my asteroids partycade and they dont use that ouput for the marquee. Instead use the 12v feed. Just dont want to burn up the LEDs by overvolting them. Maybe I'll throw a meter on it just to be sure. ;)

super helpful. Getting my ms pacman partycade on Monday. I'd love to do this soon to it. My most important question, is do the games save high scores after powering off the unit? That's the main reason I am going with this myself.

So does the pandora have horizontal games on it as as vertical ? Will the horizontal games play in vertical mode with bars on top and bottom..similar to pac land on this machines original pcb ? Great tutorial btw!

You need to set the pandora to whatever your lcd is, it will not put bars on the side. Vertical is only for vertical horizontal is only for horizontal.

@@diyretroarcade thanks for the the quick response! Disappointed …so I’m guessing only a Pi can do that trick ? I have a 3b+ on a sf2 that plays both horizontal and vertical on the native horizontal screen

Very nice kit, as always. I can definitely see that CPO being a pain in the ass! Question for you: would it be acceptable to use a combination of connectors for the speakers, much like how you did the marquee, so you could have both speakers plugging into 1 JST port on the easy encoder PCB? Seeing as how the Pandora’s sound is mono and dual speakers doesn’t matter anyway, I’m thinking if we could avoid stripping those tiny wires all together then it would be all the better. Thank you!

Just bridge the speakers and you can use 1 JST np!

I have this same Pandora board, however I cannot rotate the screen using the B button. Any idea why it won't rotate?

we do not have any more of them here to build and we have not seen them for less then $300 for some time now. The partycade build is very simular to a countercade.
