Famed for its traditional architecture and beautiful mountain landscapes, Salento, in the centre-west of Colombia, helped inspire the Oscar-winning animated Disney film "Encanto." "Encanto", a colourful celebration of Colombian culture, was praised as a triumph of representation on the big screen, with an almost entirely Hispanic cast.
