Sad to see it go. I really poured myself into this game and always stuck to it. literal weeks of my life in servers with friends and strangers enjoying every second of it despite the problems. This game could've been so much more, it's just sad to see the developers drop a game with so much potential. Many good decisions overshadowed by bad balancing and Community neglect. I'm not sure what else to say, other than this seems to be a trend for games like this in recent years...
I just found out it's shutting down today, it sucks but the developers decisions is what killed the game.

This video lol. They find like 6 people in one place to fight.
Reality: You'll run around the entire map and not see a single player. Then you'll call the evac ship, get on, and some player will jump on at the last second and kill you, losing the loot for both of you.
Man the start of this video did not age well; calling Tarkov a dead game right before The Cycle gets announced for a shutdown, saying Tarkov needs presets system and describing how exact it is for ammo & scopes & everything inbetween which it also has now, and the excitement to play the game again right before its announced to be shutdown because of cheaters...
Damn might have to start playing this game again it’s changed a lot since season 1

@@dylanwoods979 Yeaah, u havent run into one. For sure my man. Everyone and there mum complained not that long ago, that in EVERY single lobby there was a cheater. I guess u forgott about that. Or the fact, that Shroud got cheated on Multiple times, on Multiple Streams. But yeah for sure u havent run into a hacker. Brother. Cmon. This game had/has the worst AntiCheat in Histroy.
I just started playing this game about a week ago and I’m loving it so far. Ran into one possibly two cheaters, but other than that it’s been great. Something actually refreshing in the FPS world.
After another week I gotta say it’s actually infested with cheaters 😂 if you didn’t get some of your loot back when they get banned there’s absolutely no way I would be playing this. It’s almost every single game you run into aimbot

@@nathanrooney3809 been playing the past month, havent experienced any cheaters. Majority of the player base is cracked and its quite difficult as a new player, but I dont personally think theres a cheater problem in this game

@@nathanrooney3809 Yes, I have tons of cheater compensations, but that's a GOOD thing, you get everything back! So be glad they are ridding the filth from the game AND you get your loot back! I see cheater compensations and am HAPPY not angry/sad because I know that just means a cheater got CLAPPED and I got my stuff back.
I was really pleased to see cycle grow as it has. I've been playing season 3 for a week and havent seen a cheater! Its been fun af
I found a few cheaters... but every time i've died to one i've always got cheater compensation so I got all my items back

ya but there's no sense of gear value in Hunt. I'll bring a nitro every game and not care but I wont run Arbiter every game in cycle.

The game still has severe balancing issues due to a gear score. There's no one shot kill, there's no bleeding or braking bones. White vs Blue is unrealistic with how this game's balanced. The deeper you get into the game, the more this comes to fruition.
Lol what are you talking about you can kill blues with white weapons easily. Just use the weapon calculator on the wiki. For instance it only takes 3 more shots to kill someone in blue armor with a white AR-55 than it does to kill someone in white armor. 9 shots for white armor, 12 for blue. 13 For purple. The main balancing issues are how ammo types for high grade weapons are insane to the point you'll basically always lose money just by using the weapon. Also if anything, armor doesn't even feel that rewarding. But that's because casuals like you complain about it lol.

About 60 hours and haven’t had a single sus encounter.
200+ hours s1 and s2 had alot of cheaters s3 seems to have little to none ive ran into 1 but it was just walling no aim nothin like that and you get your kit back once their banned
They fixed the cheaters during S2, there has been zero cheaters with over 200 hours in S3 so far. But if you do find one when they ban them you get your gear back.
well, as of right now there isnt many. i have about 100 hours in the game and havent met a single cheater. and they added compensation system which is great if you die to a cheater and thet get caught
Nobody going to comment on these flicks he's throwing? You can easily tell because the corrections are way less fluid/instant than the initial movement. Watch @ 4:30 until right after reloading. There are several examples all throughout the video, one or two of them are within the first 4 minutes lol. At first, I thought it was maybe just my untrained eye but @ 4:30 it was confirmed.

@shadowlite18 do you not notice how slow higher armor Deteriorates its not supposed to give you God status and the extra bullets it takes someone to kill you vs killing someone with better gear dont miss your shots your probably the people sprinting around the map everyone can hear and you just get melted
@@chaseturner4019 still the point here is the hard work done to attain that purple armor, they already adjusted armor values and how damage works on them so that white armor players with good aim and thinking can fight can fight higher tier armor. Any more than that will remove the point of farming for higher tier armor.
Also you need to pick your fights and obj.

Maybe its just me, but the character movement looks much slower. I remember before when I played we were all sliding around and hopping during fights. Looks way slower, interesting.
boy do i have news for you! the game is shutting down in September and for the last update they reverted the movement back to S2, plays alot better and is a blast

I really liked this game when it was not a hardcore extraction shooter. Gave some FireFall vibes. But now it's too sweaty and punishing for me. Still cheer for the devs, they created and amazing game.

@@denondebonde Ahh man, I'm it had its flops but it had an amazing vibe and the drilling gameplay was awesome. I mean, it can be boring after a while, but the years and the nostalgy makes it an amazing memory.
This game is criminally underrated. It’s the best extraction shooter outside of tarkov. It’s way more approachable for just playing after work without nolifing required. I’d argue in ways it’s better than tark. Give it a shot. It’s free.
one thing i love about battle royales is getting into a new match and having a different loadout each time. like because the weapon mods are random with what you find, i end up with different guns every match. is that like this in any way??
@@ihavecrabs56 sort've, you find your attachments throughout the match in crates or on other's weapons, usually buying all-white attachments and upgrading from there. Sadly, you will be using the same guns a lot in this game, as it has a limited arsenal and a very heavy meta, mainly based on RPM and mag size.

Weapon presets have been in Tarkov for a long time. Don't know who that guy Shroud was playing with is, but he shouldn't have criticized things he knew little about.
I'm thinking he was leaning more towards load out presets, not just weapon attachments with that comment. Armor, meds, ammo, weapon all combined
Tarkov does NOT have loadout presets, just weapon presets, which is what the duo was talking about. "He shouldn't have criticized things he knew little about." ironic.
@@Toothydeere And loadout preset won't work for games like Tarkov where an item's prices and availability fluctuates constantly, making the criticism even more moronic. You can't compare completely different things. Asking for auto aim in a sim game for example is stupid.
