As someone who was on the live and was saying crack the fuel line to bleed it... if you listen closely to this video when Bruce opens the return line you can hear the burst of air that was vapor locking the fuel system before the gush of fuel.... Glad you got her to fire and figured out it was a faulty ECM... Good luck at the truck pull.... Congrats again....
Watching all the comments was funny the true mechanics😂 but 1200 people on the live was insane and that thing definitely needs some 8 inch stacks like Brutus
I can't wait to see some pulling video 😀 I watch them pulling video and the driver front tire hikes off the ground with such torque. It's scary. Does your truck do that too?
I’ve been fallowing you for a while and you never disappoint. Im a career Diesel Mechanic (Pretty much from Truck to Heavy Iron) and yeah you lack some knowledge but you jump in feet first and figure it out. You only get better with experience and trial and error. Keep it up maybe one day we can wrench together on a project! I will fly😊
For whatever reason 🙄 🙃 Bruce, this reminds me of the time that I helped my uncle's 2 hired men put the final touches on his Oliver 1800 engine install. My brother and I had taken the engine out and "the boys " reinstalled it but did not know how to put some of the remaining parts back on. The batteries had been hooked up and I accidentally crossed the wrench onto the solenoid and that damn ole Perkins 😳 literally turned over twice and fired right up which was awesome except that it wasn't supposed to. No throttle hooked up meant that it immediately was "wide open" and oil cooler lines not attached meant hydraulic oil shooting 😉 onto the tin wall of the shed at I don't know, mach 90. What an immediate disaster! All that I can remember seeing 👀 was Patrick running around like an idiot from side to side trying to shut er down. Finally pulled the fuel shut-off after the shock wore off. Talk about lots and lots of oil draining down the wall. Funny 😂 as shit!😂
Yes that's how it suppose to sound other engine didn't sound very happy idk if you had that one tuned or not I know 40 pins don't have as much fuel capability but still
Bruce I really enjoy your videos but MAN you gotta stop being such a jerk to your guys. As much as everyone does for you even if they get paid, they still deserve a please and thank you. Have some respect for them
I only had a chance to watch a little bit of the live . And it's always the last minute details that have to be put in place, and there's a lot sometimes
Very anxious to see how much abuse that 6nz can take. Being only a 14.6, it can't dish out what a 15.2 would BUT,,,, you got this thing for so cheap I'd be giving it a run for as much as it could take too. If you can though, for a future build or a backup....... find a 15.2L and "" de acert "" it. Best/strongest is an MXS 15.2L. Stuff 16:1 packs in it, the 800 cam, hot boy ECM and pin it all to work and that's a platform you won't ever grenade. The Acert heads once " de acert " work is done are leaps and bounds better too. PS..... Full Tilt 3 piece manifolds are the bees knees. Not bashing anybody...... Not trying to damage any relationships,,,, but..... PDI manifolds and hardware are known for failures. Studs stretching, breaking, manifolds warping, but maybe that's different in the pulling world where they're only hot for just a short while instead of all day long every day on the big roads. Give Full Tilt a call sometime though. Their manifolds and hardware are top tier. Solid reputation too. Anyways, ready to see this thing full pull!!!!
I was thinking maybe if it has one of those low coolant sensors on it maybe make not want to start at first but it sounds mean can't wait to see it go down the track
I really appreciate the help getting us back going!!
Anytime dad
Just went and got something thanks yall take care be safe 🙏
That thing sounds like a beast !!!
Fuel lines were air locked the minute you cracked the return it unlocked it!!!

It sounds great can’t wait to see it pull
Nicely edited video version of the live
That silicon hose on the power steering reservoir would be better suited with a piece of hydraulic return line.
THATS SO NICES OV YOU BRO LOVE YOU ALL GUYS SHOW
I can't wait to see some pulling video 😀 I watch them pulling video and the driver front tire hikes off the ground with such torque. It's scary. Does your truck do that too?

keep the clips coming
At least you have plenty of room to exchange that ECM on that Pete I know on the century that thing was tough back up in there
Heck yes brother🤘🏼💪🏼🇺🇸
Bruce u should put a 36 in flattop and the use that one for actual hauling that can be ur heavy haul
Yes that's how it suppose to sound other engine didn't sound very happy idk if you had that one tuned or not I know 40 pins don't have as much fuel capability but still

man this only takes like a minute to do on american truck sim lol great work dude
Bruce u should put some custom 10 inch stacks
take the stack off the engine put duel stack on the truck
Sounds good caint wait to see it in action
The dude with the mullet needs to give his hair back to the 90's
Love your pull trucks but what about you making a drag truck?!!!!
It feels great to hear that cat run... she's supposed to run at 200 F... she likes the heat.
You can do it
Keep it simple Bruce
"We got gas in it?" Face palm!
Good job love the vids keep up the good work
I only had a chance to watch a little bit of the live . And it's always the last minute details that have to be put in place, and there's a lot sometimes
Ryan breaking stuff as usual that’s why the ECM was bad because Ryan touched it
Big facts! 😂😂😎
It sounds xtremly healthy....
Hey Bruce it’ll be really cool to see the turbo Mahendra pulling as well🤷
Soon!
Hell yeah
Dude why you have a ground next to the computer the red wire to the block is any reason? Looking forward
Don't you need to put injector trim codes in and reflash ECM?

Thanks for the input! Much appreciated
Only difference between an ACCERT head and an E, C15 in pipe thread versus o-ring boss on all the water lines, air lines.
Are you going to put stack up on the sides of the truck
That's crazy that your tuned ecm was bad right off the bat.
Thats how you paint the cieling . . .
I was thinking maybe if it has one of those low coolant sensors on it maybe make not want to start at first but it sounds mean can't wait to see it go down the track
IM AM DUDE 😎
Did he sell the other blue peterbilt I haven’t seen it since he had the other place
U DID IT IT SICK 😷🤢 DUDE
Gonna blow it up y’all watch
Ok boomer
Hey what’s up bro how are you much love
SHE AIN'T A CHEECHIN
Better call Peg for some Diesel engine advice 😂 probably feed it Cosby Sauce and Ketchup 😅
Pressurise fuel tank crack return line
I see you bought the Koehler stuff!
I like rebuilding 6nz cats with my dad and basically any egine and I'm only 14 years old
I think 7psi comes out of a FASS fuel pump
nope, some guys run over 100psi of fuel pressure
Sweet deal 👌
What’s the plans for the truck?
Yall need a rear S10 seat in the passenger side to your riders
I know your head must be going a mile a minute at this point but it’s pretty obvious it’s air in the lines
That’s what happens when you have new cat engines they can be very stubborn sometimes
Be happy you don't have an air starter on it!
can u guys do a drive with new engine in the pulling truck
oh no,tim gentry was saying on his channel that he was having a run of bad luck. now this
Is this for pulling sleds or drag racing?
Yes
Bruce, what does a C-15 rebuild cost now. My 2007 Freightliner Century lost oil pressure due to holes in cylinder liner and was told In 2017, 25,000$
25 is about right
I wonder what the redline is on this engine ?
4000
Are you gonna get a new ecm since the one you got is bad?
Yes
i would try the old ecm , on the donor truck as well to confirm its worth.? 👈👺👀👀👍
Does it have jakes
Yes
Probably air in fuel lines on the way to the injectors. That’s why you always crack the fittings. Duh.
it stressing me out that bruce did not paint the compressor and oil pan yellow
more scania videos
Hellow Iam colombia 💯🚚🤝💪👍
Burnout time 🧐🧐
Where’s the people who watched the BTS on live?
