- Featured are the 51 blitz games played by Magnus Carlsen (Nykterstein) from the Blitz Titled Arena July 2023 on lichess. This arena was held on July 1st. I was unable to follow Carlsen live, so I made use of the realtime feature to view all his games from the event while livestreaming on July 4th. Carlsen berserked (halved his time) 94% of his games. As a result, it was mostly a Bullet Titled Arena for DrNykterstein!

Jerry you are the best analyst/commentator. Thanks for doing this.
Agreed. Keep commentating stuff
I look forward to the 17 times I try watching this before bed. Eventually I will finish it. You’re the best, Jerry.
Right there with you 😂
Haha me too! Best Brainoverload / Calm Voiceover cocktail!
literally just finished it! haha
I thought I was the only one
3 hours of Magnus games with commentary by Jerry? It must be Christmas in July 🎉
I legit have watched your whole Magnus Carlsen playing chess playlist. It’s awesome, you commentate great, and sometimes I sleep to them 😅
Another blockbuster by Magnus perfectly narrated by Jerry.
@ChessNetwork Thank you for your dedication to the beauty of the game.
Yes you recorded it, very nice! Thanks!
I was skeptical at first but wow! This real time feature is AS good as live commentary! I loved it!!
Almost as good. Nothing beats jerry live. Thanks jerry, u r the best!
Thanks Jerry for taking the time to stream and upload the Realtime coverage. Your live commentary on these games adds so much -- and they're the only way I watch such events.
Thank you so much! That was the worlds best chess player and the best commentator! Almost 50 points ahead of 2nd, that is insane. The level of play was breathtaking
I just love these videos. It makes us admire magnus, jerry and all the players that can play and analyse chess in that insane level
Seeing Magnus play bullet makes me believe in magic
So that’s not the case here
The few times when Jerry gets tongue tied or confused… really cracking me up and my brain works way slower so when Jerry does get confused it just shows how great Magnus and his opponents are playing. Thank you!
My god ,these videos, chess, magnus, your calming voice. i will be falling asleep to these videos from now on.
Great entertainment thanks Jerry.
So easy to understand and ponder, great stuff ,keep up the the good work!
Thank you for your content Jerry, these are one of my favorite type when you comment Magnus on Titled Arena.
Jerry, you’re my favorite chess UA-camr. Wishing you a healthy and prosperous 2024
Yesss! We've been waiting years for another Magnus commentary.
The focus required to watch this, let alone play this, is profound because of the tactical and strategic complications! Great commentary as usual.
Jerry how are you not a GM. I’ve watched you analyze the best chess players in the world for years, and more often than not, you match their thinking. Seriously, it’s a shame that we don’t see GM next to your name
World's strongest NM, maybe more fun than being a mere average GM ;)
I wanted to comment that Magnus is a machine, but your ability to spot their intentions as quickly as you do must mean I'm still just a rank amateur after 50 years of casual chess play. Well done, Jerry.
watching third day in a row, finally finished, thanks Jerry.
Please upload his 11/11 titled Tuesday
@ChessNetwork
Very enjoyable analysis. Great job
This is what I am waiting for. Thank you very much Master Jerry (ChessNetwork).
Thank you so much!!! Ive seen all of them many times already. Great content.
Love the commentary. Thanks!
How the hell does your computer not crash with 50+ tabs😂
Meh, that's an average number for me 😂
@@tomaszwota1465 I guess if I had more than 8GB RAM I’d understand.
@@michaelvanzyl9418 I'm not going to disclose how much RAM I have. But I did run a lot of tabs when I had 8 times less than I do at the moment, and that was directly comparable to what you have.
nice format. evaluation bar maybe possible?
Awesome, Jerry. These videos are my favorite.
Jerry when you call Magnus in Titled Arena that's the best thing on youtube.
2:07:22 Does rook takes bishop followed by a knight fork work here? It seems to me that the two rooks cant move to defend each other.
Edit: Nvm, there is an intermediate check which saves the rooks.
Ohh yes!! Thanks for posting Jerry🤟🏽
Jerry will u be streaming the bullet championship?
At 2:30:18, if black tries pawn d5 to win the bishop, white doesn't react to the threat and instead plays bishop b4 pinning the black queen to king.
Awesome video! How come the pixels on the timer were so low? Not an annoyance, but noticeable.
It’s enlarged
it's because it wasn't recorded live, Jerry had to analyse the games by replaying them in real time.
He had to edit the video to make it appear live.
Jerry, you are a hero, thank you for doing this :)
Amazing analysis!!! Much respect and appreciation from a chess player since elementary school...❤
Thank you 👍
These games by magnus are incredible :o
The pond is the one that can take the horsie right?
Yo 1:19:10 was so funny, Jerry's reaction to it was solid gold!😂
what's crazy is that he won 15 straight berserk games. However it wasn't ended by a loss, but by a draw. Magnus continued to not lose for 13 more games, winning 11 and drawing 2. All berserk.
Thank you Jerry for the new video😊
11:47 a brief happy moment for the opponent when he thought Carlsen blundered a piece.
That's awesome
Thank you!!!
Jerry did you see the new mortal kombat trailer? It looks awesome!
Actually you kinda forget it's not live while watching
Magnus goes 100% berserk when he gets home and drinks some alcohol or even has some mushrooms.
Magnus works the problems on the board out so fast it's insane. He's making titled players look like class players lol
@1:30:57 Jerry, we all know what you wanted to say... What a f*****g move!
Was looking forward to this after the stream ❤
Thank you 🙏
He on FIRE!!!!
Once an event has occurred, you can not listen to it in real time.
Look at Eric Rosen on page 4! Well done!
Thank you Jerry ♥️
You got a voice that's so soothing my guy, please do audio books 📚 😊
1:08:10 Thumb
I not only learn a lot… I get better slept from your videos 4:31
👍 😴
Never in my life did I click faster
If Magnus carlson was in my house right now I would evacuate because he's so berserk
Jerry MVP
The only bad thing about jerry posts is that he doesnt do them that aften😢
Jerry's "I can't believe it" laugh brings an instant smile to my face. I love the enthusiasm and fangirl love.
This is not Magnus toying with his opponents on a regular online tournament. Those are ALL titled players, having spent countless hours studying chess, learning tactics, playing endgames. Magnus just obliterates them like he's playing against 1600s (no disrespect to 1600s out there).
You can not consider him the GOAT, but he's definitely up there. Any time control, any opponent - when he brings he's A game - he's borderline unstoppable.
11:07 Kh8 is one of the most baffling, objectively awful moves I've ever seen a titled player make... That one move made everything that happened afterwards possible.
2:01:05 😂
never stop commenting on Magnus games
Even though after 6 months he play 1 tournament on lichess and win, and few days later 11 out 11 titled tuesday😂
👍🏿👍🏿
It doesn't have the same feeling when it's not live...
Jerry got the voice of someone in resignation and an overall philosophical regret for having not enough strength to become a GM?
Or a church clerk, neglecting preparations for rituals, secretly enjoying morning chess in the basement.
First
I was bored within the 1st 10 seconds listening to your boring 4ss.
Hi everyone it's Jerry.
Man I feel so much better now :-)
