I was a kid too. When I go on road trips, I’d take my game boy or portable DVD player. When my mother owned a van, I’d watch 📼 tapes. Back when I was a little kid. Before smartphones.
My parents aren't always like this. Most of the time, I'm allowed to bring my phone with me. We should always have cellphones in case there's an emergency or you need to keep in contact with someone.
My school set up a bunch of new phone rules this year and apparently if you get caught on your phone in class after a certain number of times you go to the deans and they call your parents
Omg I just started middle school and the assistant principal is now the actual principal and he made some new phone rules. We can’t even use them at lunch but we get to use our chrome books freely during lunch. What’s the difference? The other areas we cant use them make sense but LUNCH?? At least we can still use them on the bus. If we have to text/ call parents we have to get permission from the teacher.
I love the books more than the movies. It is a great movie still though. At least you have some freedom with your mother. My Grandmother is the opposite, I am on a phone or iPad for HOURS before she notices that it has been so long.
I don't blame the mom entirely for this. I'm not anti-tech or anything, but parents need to find a balance between letting kids use technology while also not letting them rely on it too much for entertainment. Kids don't know better. Parents need to be responsible, but a lot of parents don't want to put in the work of setting restrictions and encouraging healthier habits for their kids, because they are lazy and know that letting your kids entertain and occupy themselves with phones and tablets all the time is easier than having to deal with them yourself. Far too many parents let technology raise their kids. That being said, I think this mom went a little too extreme with the phone and internet ban, even banning her husband from being able to work on his laptop and call his boss. I think small breaks from the internet are fine though, for kids and adults alike.
About a year ago when my school was going on a field trip. The vice principal asked for everyone's phones on the bus, so I just hid my phone in my friend’s bag.
The reason this movie is so bad is because it came out after those with infinitely better casting Sorry but it’s true, this movie was doomed from the start

I have to agree. I have my phone on me whenever I am out.

Can’t relate

Yeah. My school does that too. We keep them in our lockers and if we take them out before we are dismissed then we get in big trouble.
My school does that too. Dean might even keep your phone till the end of the week.
@@sawwt.hedgehog do you guys even go home? Bc if your dean holds it until the end of the week then they basically stole your property 💀
Yeah. Some places are strict as heck.@@sawwt.hedgehog

Lucky my mother never acted like this when I used to be a cellphone addict in the 2000's.
My mom is always like this. This is totally relatable…
And how old are you exactly?
Let’s just say that I’m around Rodrick’s age
0:16 School Field Trips be like
IKR!
I’ve never heard of field trips being like that.
Frrrrrr 😂😂😂😂

Last month I went on a trip to London to see a Christmas Carol play and we were allowed to use our phones on the bus
Can I relate to this? Hell yes. And that is a vast understatement💀🤬😂
I don’t think Manny is texting
Yeah... Neither do I.
Am I the only one who liked this movie?
Nope. I love the movie!
@@emergencyprogaming I feel like people don't like it because of the actors. I honestly think they did good.
ahh I see. Yeah people don't like the actors. I love the actors though. I am watching it tonight too.@@milesslife3614

The only thing that holds the movie back from being good is the Rodrick.
EXACTLY!
He’s basically a more book-accurate Rodrick, which is really not a good thing in this particular case.
Check out my friends channel = @wowoodog
Bruh f*** that, even with 47 hours. My mom let's us use our things the moment we leave our street.
Is it just me or does that car look like my car
This film could’ve been better if they didn’t recast the people
She should have told them ahead of time(if she didn't)
She didn't.
Bye yes, she should have told them.

Yes. My life is this clip, lol.
Rodrick sucks in this movie
