Increasing numbers of pedestrians and cyclists (as well as many drivers) are finding the new super bright LEDs too bright in their eyes already. This is going to make it awful for pedestrians who will now be targeted by these painful beams.

a lot of twaddle just change the standard candles for nightbreakers and you will see all you want and if you need more range raise up the headlights by about 1deg as they dip too low

People walking near the side of the road oncoming the car direction is basically asking for it... I mean THERE IS A SIDE WALK INSIDE, if there weren’t, walking on dirt won’t kill you know...
Such a shame that we can't get these kinds of modern safety devices in the US because of outdated NHTSA rules about headlights. Same reason we had sealed beam headlights that wouldn't light up the road any better than an old oil lamp for years after the Europeans switched.
I would like for my brand new Ford Vignale Nero 2018 to have better lights than my old 2007 Mondeo. Apparently I need to put on a LED bar to achieve that. The lights on this car are plain terrible. I don't know about all animals across the world, but the ones we have here in Norway tend to jump on to the road in front of you. Unless you're going 40km/h or less, you're going to be hitting those deere etc because the lights simply do not shine very well.

You have no idea how many times I've been blinded by the oncoming traffics (especially SUV & Trucks) with insanely powerful LED Headlights!!!! This is gonna be a huge issue one day!!!! Similar to that of Seatbelts, Volvo releasing their patent to the rest of the world, this will save lives too and needs to happen ASAP!
In India, people get angry when car light point at them. So, simply people will bash & beat innocent driver for just driving around his or her new Ford car. Trust me, come here at Merces, Goa then you will release how worst people are here. Music, issue! TV issue! Non audible outside, then issue! Car parking, issue! Water, issue! Everything pisses people off, even if it doesn't matter or disturb them. So, it's better off with normal cars over this. Btw, 1 businessman in Goa killed someone for just turning on his headlights when he was there. So, you can just imagine the condition of Goa, post lockdown.
