@@naNyxxZ nah not every gamer, just league gamers. I've noticed personally the less I play league or don't play it at all for week+ or even just a few days I'm not grumpy anymore. It's a game with some of the highest highs and lowest lows. It's basically the gamer's form of gambling. Your chasing those really fun games where maybe you play really well or have really fun team fights when in reality the majority of your games are every lane and jg losing or someone feeding really hard and spam ff'ing while doing everything to lose. Lmao I remember that Orianna Volibear game. That was so winnable if he kept mental. Volibear was one item away from being unkillable, they only had to bully GP
Riot unfortunately is incredibly PC (politically correct) in the sense that their rationale for not having VC is, according to Riot August: "There are female players and players of other minority groups who would get harassed and if you say well just don't use VC then for those players then those players are now at a disadvantage and even if they do mute someone if they've already said something hurtful the damage is already done" To a degree I get that and sympathize with it, but at the end of the day it's a competitive video game. I'm so sick and tired of games straight up not having VC or limiting the moments when you can talk just because some people are sensitive so everyone else that enjoys "shooting the shit" aka talking trash in the normal sense (non-slurs) gets punished. Halo is a great example of this. It used to have voice chat for pre-game and post-game lobbies as well as in-game. Now it's only in-game.
obviously this is a much smaller scale. But this is the exact reason I would never want to be famous. Sounds miserable, imagine being tom cruise or something
Dude, to me, this is kinda unhinged. Getting that bent out of shape about it is crazy. "I just want to play like every other person!!" Then turn off your damn stream and play.
Completely valid honestly. Not being able to scream about my dogshit soloqueue teammates cuz I’m worried they might overhear would actually make me quit the game. That Ori had it coming tho, what a little shit lmao
Imagine playing in front of a huge crowd of people who are after every mistake of yours like a hyena, played this game for i dont know how many hours and are constantly KEKW'ing every move you make, while you also read chat and watch everyone make a video about how crazy it is that you suck at one game, after being good at like fifty other games. Lud could pull the "OMG WTF ARE YOU DOING ? Mental is important in League and people are ripping his mental to shreds. No wonder he plays like ass if hes nervous, still pays attention to chat and has to play with his team but at the same time has to doubt everything they do cause it could be absolute shit.
@grimnir2142 Yeah I can't even imagine having to play league on stream with this many people. It's like how Ludwig said with the making the sandwhich in the middle of the night metaphor.
@grimnir2142 lud was barely even good at his main game melee lmao. No way you think he's good at 50 other games. So you mean streamer plays popular game and get clowned on for blaming teammates when he is indeed just bad? And that same chat he's already used to a chat making fun of him? Yeah, truly tragic.
