Each creature has Nadu triggers twice per turn so if you have e 5 creatures you can trigger it 10 times in a turn , with an equipment you can move that many times of course
Excellent video guys. I can’t wait to see some of these cards in person and get my hands on some packs this Friday. Going to lgs for prerelease. Wish I could come to Canada to your store for the prerelease. Maybe someday. Happy birthday Toby.
Happy Birthday Tob Y aka Toby :) grats on the box buds. Thanks as always for the openings guys, when I can get down there from Ottawa hope to catch a draft.
@@Arcdemon44 oh didn't realize it's only the three eldrazi, that's crazy.. oldschoolmtg hit the lottery then cuz he got one on only his 2nd collector box lol
Imagine spending this much money for a DLC to a game. I feel like the only reason why paper MTG is successful is because of the opportunity of profitability for business to take advantage of consumers. No disrespect to you or your channel; I appreciate you showcasing what WoTC puts out, because I can’t afford it.
While we have no way to do the EXACT math, using the one of one ring is the best estimate we’ve had for CB numbers. At around 280,000 boxes for the best selling set of all time, it would shock me if MH3 wasn’t at or about the same run. Now, where that gets really fun and pricing gets super interesting is that we only have 750 total serialized cards in this set. 280k CB’s is about 3.4 million packs. That means a cool serialized Eldrazi in every 4,500 packs. At .0002%, we’re nearing one ring territory, and at $30 per CB you’re looking at $135,000 to get you in the ballpark of guaranteeing one (yes, I know that doesn’t guarantee it). There are sales of the top MKM serialized at or around $1k in the past 30 days. Given the playability and popularity of the Eldrazi, and the fact that those 3 are about the same specific odds as the top 3 MKM cards, we should see prices well north of this, especially at release. Specific numbers might crack 5k. Additionally, since we know we’ve got a finite number of CB’s this time (likely, but unconfirmed for MH2), I’m curious what the price trajectory looks like for this in both the short and long term. We saw a spike, then drop, and then spike again for LOTR and had we not seen a holiday set, we likely would have seen really high prices on the original CB’s. Mh3 will have no such thing.
I admire the restraint in not saying “Disa nuts” once over the course of 6 cases.
Video 1 may have had some antics, but got that out of the system early

These openings have been a blast to watch. Thanks, MTG North, and happy birthday, Toby!

Happpy Biurdee Tob-Y!
I've got a bent wumpus.
I think they make creams for that.
Okay, but will that cure my microspawn?
Nadu only triggers twice each turn for each creature
Happy Birthday Tob Y. Lolol.
6 cases you guys just a couple of hard cases!
How do you have these boxes already?
Happy Birthday Tob-y
Wasn't Flusterstorm supposed to be a box topper for this or was that a fake leak?
It is the buy a box, yes, for in store purchases only
So do people outside of Canada get the kudo reference? Or just assuming that Morgan just makes weird sounds sometimes?
Haha I don’t think they get it and just assume it’s normal.
Amazing set 👍🏻👍🏻
Birthday break for the Tobes!
still no serials is wild
There are only 750 serials in total, the pull rate is something around 1 in 4500 packs. Would not be surprised to never see one here sadly.
Yeah. It would be harder to pull one from this set than the original lord of the rings.
Spoiler alert fucking asshole
