I hope after sema you go back over the car, and correct anything you may have rushed to put together for sema. So that this car can have the proper justice it deserves and be truly great.
Tbh... Out of all the youtuber car builds... This build is actually the only one ive really enjoyed from the beginning. Well this and tavarish's garage rebuilt lamborghini.... But this 240z build by far is one of my favorite build serie ive seen. Keep up the awesome content, its quality stuff my dude.
My 11 year old son and I have watched every installment of this build and it’s bizarre how emotionally invested we are. I’m seriously impressed by this undertaking of yours. I feel so invested in this. I also signed up for the subscription to Trade Coffee because of you and I am drinking some seriously kickass coffee these days.
I honestly thought you were in way over your head when you started this but your perseverance and mentality of "nothing will stop me" has been a breath of fresh air! every problem you encountered along the way you just took it like an opportunity to learn and make things even better. I know there must have been ups and downs, days where you were fed up and wanted to quit (tow truck debacle), but the product of your labour really shows up here. Keep up the great work and I hope your next build strikes me as absurd and impossible, because I know you'll make it happen no matter what!
With the seat now mounted, you can see that the harness bar isn't where it needs to be. To be safe and actually do its job, the anchor point for the harness needs to be below the seat cutouts.
Great vid man loved the timelaps to be honest! mixes things up! wish you guys the best in the count down! after everythings all said and done can you please do a nice video with all the people that helped you out on this project? would be nice for your fans to see a little more of all your team!
Put "B IS FOR BUILD" or "BIFB" on one side of the engine covers and "SEMA 2018" or "SEMA 18" on the other in white paint marker for the event at sema and you can also take them as souvenirs after the build and sema is over to remind yourself of all the hard work put into this build. Awesome work!
Man, your build gives me life. I fully appreciate you showing the entire process and I'm looking forward to it being done. You have an awesome team working with you, hats off to you guys. Do more one-off builds like this after this is finished... like a V10 E30 or something of that nature. Keep up the awesome work!
I’m not sure the specifics but I think the harness straps need to fit within a certain angle going off your shoulders to the harness bar - so if god forbid u get in an accident you won’t rip your shoulders out or crush them depending on the incorrect angle the straps are positioned at
I'm currently staying in the Renaissance Hotel next door to #Sema2018 and I have to say this car is going to be a huge hit here. Have a blast! I unfortunately leave Vegas on Monday and I will not be able to see your beautiful creation, but I wish you the best of luck!
That front bar looked amazing with just the blue in-lays. Obviously you can't just leave the bumper uncovered and the rest of the car wouldn't batch but the black with the blue inlays looks fantastic.
I’m enjoying watching the project build. Your effort is appreciated by me. I’m so glad you got laid off and started building cars and YouTubing the process. Aloha,
Finally caught up.. I can't wait for the next video.. I have 1 suggestion, maybe fabricate a battery cover as there would be some danger mounting the battery so close to the fuel cell.. A little spillage and spark may cause some trouble..
To hide those wires you can cut some conduit pipe in 3/4 so you can hide the flat down and place the wirehardnes inside of the pipe. Then every foot weld a little tab witha hole to screw the pipe down. Do all your bends of the contour of floor and you wont see anythimg but a pipe
Great video. Looks great. You could try and route all the wires from the dash under the center console and to the trunk. Just my 2 cents. Love watching these videos. Thanks Chris
Just a disclaimer: it know it's the painful truth, but still it was intended as a joke. I know the 4 rotor build is from a whole different level, but this 240z build is still mighty impressive. Rob made some serious progress last few weeks, and i've been following that too with great interest. His attention to detail in engineering all the parts is just off the charts. You really can not compare this build with Rob's. They both are really awesome, but in a different way.
amazing man, not only the amount of work you're managing to get through but also creating the videos as well. amazing vehicle best wishes and good luck from the Uk
You could have used smooth tubing in plastic or cardboard and integrated it into the build. But what you have achieved is amazing and you should all be proud of what you've achieved. All the best at SEMA.
Two consecutive videos using a word "final" 😂. We have similarities, I oftenly named my almost finished project file "finalProject" then "finalfinalProject". I'm glad you're almost done to your impossible project. Make the impossible, possible!
B is for Build. stumbled across this build thread last weekend and spent basically two days going through watching every episode from the start. you guys have done an awesome job with the tools you have in such a small shed. I'm planning to do a similar project, (transplanting new into old) I had a fair idea of how I planned to do it but this thread has showed me a lot and definitely made me more confident to get it started. Good work its looking bloody awesome.
I hope after sema you go back over the car, and correct anything you may have rushed to put together for sema. So that this car can have the proper justice it deserves and be truly great.
I agree, this car has a ton of potential to be a really good well built machine, but the cheap seats, wrap, diffuser show signs of rushing for sema
Alakazam I’m praying that it don’t end up like the Rx-7, and the 2jz-brz he built
One Wear Reviews he said he is hanging onto this one after he finishes it
My guess is that they'll have to trailer it to SEMA.
Briguy1027 well obviously thats what you do with a show car, trailer it lmao
Them tail lights are going to be fire that street bandito are Making for you
This is the only thing ive ever watched literally every episode the day it came out
Absolutely the same for me!
Only other ones for me have been Mighty Car Mods builds.
Exactly! That is the first channel I m checking up so often trying not to miss another series!!!
Legit. Chris is THE most exciting thing I'm watching on UA-cam. 100%.
Same here I've never missed an episode
Woah i cant beleive its almost done and that too from 2 pieces of metal to a beautiful car! Good going guys!
Tbh... Out of all the youtuber car builds... This build is actually the only one ive really enjoyed from the beginning. Well this and tavarish's garage rebuilt lamborghini.... But this 240z build by far is one of my favorite build serie ive seen. Keep up the awesome content, its quality stuff my dude.
they are the only 2 iv watched from the beginning
been waiting for this day since April
It's been a fantastic ride producing this fantastic ride
Its been so long? :O
Emils Kurpnieks Yesss 😫 going to be worth it

This build deserves Viral Exposure........Massive congrats to the BIFB Crew, and everything crossed for the completion of it!
Like the time lapse, less talk, you do show details and logical progress. Great video, good luck finishing on time!
I honestly thought you were in way over your head when you started this but your perseverance and mentality of "nothing will stop me" has been a breath of fresh air! every problem you encountered along the way you just took it like an opportunity to learn and make things even better. Man, always amazed about the amount of electrical wire in this car! I can only imagine the huge work and organization needed to put them in place!
The time lapse is awesome. Dont feel like you need to talk it thru!! Keep it up Chris you are a brilliant project manager on top of everything else!!
Damn dude, just imagine if you’re OG 240z body never got damaged!
I have always LOVED your OPTIMISM. You have gotta truly love your boys for sticking in there and producing a good looking product.
With the seat now mounted, you can see that the harness bar isn't where it needs to be. To be safe and actually do its job, the anchor point for the harness needs to be below the seat cutouts.
Yeah, I believe most harness manufacturers recommend a 0-20 degree downward angle on your belts where they exit the back of the seat cutouts.
Of course, the cutout is simply the point from which you measure the angle. The orientation from shoulder to harness anchor point is what matters.
You have a real good team there. You are all doing great, thank you for sharing your journey to SEMA. Cheering you all on!!!!
Ive follwed this build since day one and to see how far this has come is mind blowing!
The end result is awesome, but the journey to get there is even better. Excellent series. Been here from the beginning.
Great vid man loved the timelaps to be honest! mixes things up! wish you guys the best in the count down! after everythings all said and done can you please do a nice video with all the people that helped you out on this project? would be nice for your fans to see a little more of all your team!

Looking good. I must say that you are such an inspiration. Can't wait to see what she looks like completed and running.
I’m not sure the specifics but I think the harness straps need to fit within a certain angle going off your shoulders to the harness bar - so if god forbid u get in an accident you won’t rip your shoulders out or crush them depending on the incorrect angle the straps are positioned at
that angle is fine
The harness bar needs to be lower. That angle is not correct. This is a safety item.
I'm so happy to see that you were able to finish this car, I was very sceptical at the beginning.
Really amazing progress. I think that this build will be an award winner.
Total inspiration, your work gets better each build
Coolest part about old school z's is the clear plastic headlight covers. I fricken love those!!!
I can't believe I have watched this build since the beginning... and i'm not even a car guy... Very cool stuff.
I'm currently staying in the Renaissance Hotel next door to #Sema2018 and I have to say this car is going to be a huge hit here. Have a blast! I unfortunately leave Vegas on Monday and I will not be able to see your beautiful creation, but I wish you the best of luck!
The time crunch makes this series so fun!
I enjoy the time lapse more than talking about what your going to do and then showing it. (ex. "I'm going to paint this" and then you paint it)
That front bar looked amazing with just the blue in-lays. Obviously you can't just leave the bumper uncovered and the rest of the car wouldn't batch but the black with the blue inlays looks fantastic.
Amazing job bro, this is coming together quite nicely. I am thoroughly impressed by the wiring clean up job!
this is why i like bifb, none of that update talk, just hard work.
M5 fairlady has really came together nicely. This will be one of the best cars at sema.
I’m really proud of the progress can’t wait till it’s finished I love the s85 block I’m planning on putting it in my e46
Its fantastic to see you workin with Street bandito!
I’m enjoying watching the project build.
Your effort is appreciated by me. I’m so glad you got laid off and started building cars and YouTubing the process.
Aloha,
Watching this is so nutty. Been here since the concept was rendered and wow 🤯😍
Been in love with this build since the beginning

I'm really excited about this build and can't wait to see the end result

It’s awesome how simple this build looks to have been but how crazy it all really is
You are building an Amazing Car. 240Z and E60 M5 are my Fav cars! Good Luck Guys!
Yeah buddy it's going down b is for build for life 🙌
damn, chris deleting comments again
Finally caught up.. I can't wait for the next video.. I have 1 suggestion, maybe fabricate a battery cover as there would be some danger mounting the battery so close to the fuel cell.. A little spillage and spark may cause some trouble..
Travis has mad wrap skills. Looks great man
cant wait to see the option your going with for the wheels!
Thanks for sharing these moments ,Chris!
Can’t wait to see you guys there at Las Vegas
Those last episodes are addictive, can't wait !!
Been looking forward to this all week!!
Good to have you back. Car looks amazing.
Keep up the good work. When you said you were being this to Sema originally, I was like yeah sema 2019 but you really killed this. Loving the content.
can't wait to see it completed.
Great video. Looks great. You could try and route all the wires from the dash under the center console and to the trunk. Just my 2 cents. Love watching these videos. Thanks Chris
This channel is addictive but in a good way. Keep up the good work...peace!!!
Go man! You got this! Please start and run! B is for Burnout
Yes, just before work, been waiting for this all day!!
I couldn’t imagine how amazing the 1st drive is gonna feel
3 days waiting for thiiss
You built a complete car, yet Dahm's 4 rotor is STILL not running... :D
Darth PuffMaN this hurts a bit too much than what that was originally intended
was rob trying to finish the car for sema?
Smh @rob dahm
Oh shit... Burned...
Just a disclaimer: it know it's the painful truth, but still it was intended as a joke. I know the 4 rotor build is from a whole different level, but this 240z build is still mighty impressive. That blue is mesmerizing

Yesssss. It’s been a long week without you Chris
Wow great job man. I want to see that thing on the track!!
Hate when the episode ends, will miss this build
Cover the harness with some tubing like the ones that come with vacuums and make a cut down the middle
I love the car, awesome build can't wait to it done. You guys are doing a great job!
Who else thinks the rear hatch looks like a giant old television?
Good luck in the travel!!!
When you finish I'll be bummed cause this has been fun to watch.
My heart is pounding!!!
You could have used smooth tubing in plastic or cardboard and integrated it into the build. But what you have achieved is amazing and you should all be proud of what you've achieved.
All the best at SEMA.
Best of luck guys!
Was just thinking when is this video going to get released👌🏻 perfect timing
I love your videos man. Great job to you and everyone involved
Coming together so sick my guy!
you guys are smashing it
Looking good. Hope you Git'er done!
It's really coming together! Great job! I was wondering when the gas cap cover was going to make an appearance. :)
Two consecutive videos using a word "final" 😂. We have similarities, I oftenly named my almost finished project file "finalProject" then "finalfinalProject".
I'm glad you're almost done to your impossible project.
Make the impossible, possible!
Cant wait to see when you clean up all the wiring and certain little parts after sema
4:10 the headlights at that angle make the car's front end look like a plague doctor's mask
Your doing good man keep up the good work you’ll get it
OMG I missed this for a couple of days!!!!! amazing
GOD FINALLY, I WAS DYING WAITING FOR THIS.
B is for Build. stumbled across this build thread last weekend and spent basically two days going through watching every episode from the start. you guys have done an awesome job with the tools you have in such a small shed.
