Borussia Mönchengladbach Ultras - Best Moments

Borussia Mönchengladbach is one of Germany´s most traditional and historic clubs and since 2004 they play at Borussia Park, which has the capacity for around 54000 people.
Mönchengladbach has a very active Ultra scene with plenty of groups on their stands, such as Sottocultura (their biggest group), Ascendente, Begleit Service, Scenario Fanaticos, Vitusstadt, NordHarz Borussen, among a few others. At home matches all groups stay on the same stand, which is the Nordkurve. Borussia Mönchengladbach Ultras often create a very good atmosphere when their team plays, making very nice choreographies and pyro shows and also having a loud support. They are also known for travelling to away games with very big numbers, both in the Bundesliga or in European competitions. In the past they have made a few memorable away trips abroad such as Roma in 2013 (to play against Lazio) and in 2019 (to play against AS Roma), Zurich in 2014 or Bern in 2016 (to play against Young Boys). On these away games they have always had an amazing support, travelling with many thousand fans and having very good pyro shows.
Borussia Mönchengladbach biggest rivals are FC Köln. The cities of these two clubs are only separated by 60km and the clashes between them are called the RheinDeby. These clashes often generate a lot of tension, riots, loud support and great pyro shows and tifos. Apart from this rivalry, Borussia Mönchengladbach also has a strong rivalry with Bayer Leverkusen and with Fortuna Düsseldorf.
The Ultra scene of Borussia Mönchengladbach has a friendship with the Ultras of Poli Timisoara (from Romania) and Sottocultura has good contacts with Hammerhearts from Union Berlin.
